As I got up and look around to see if anyone saw me fall. I get up and go to my office and call my mother.
"Hello" I hear her sweet happy voice awnser.
"Mom?" I ask crying
"Yes dear, what's wrong?" She ask worried
"She's Gone!" I said
"Who?" She said
"Ashley!" I said.
The phone was silent for awhile.
I look around after our convo was done.
Everyone had come to my office and gave me a hug or there sorrows.
I get up and go back and get in my car and start patroling, which I should have not done while driving.
My phone rings (Ring Ring) I awnser
"Trooper Buhr?" I said
"Hey honey." She said
"Ohh, My god I needed to hear your voice!" I said
Knowing that my wife was there for me was a great feelings.
"I heard, Im so sorry sweetie!" She said
It's okay, I will be home for dinner at about 9:00" I said
I love you, stay strong see you tonight" She said.
"Bye love you too." I said
The phone call was ended, at this point I feel alone inside. Not knowing what to do. I pull over and watch traffic and look for speeders to take my anger.
Traffic is full today and no one is speeding. Nothing to do think of.
Time for funeral arrangments.
