A week passed and Dib has chosen astronomy to be his favorite class, despite Zim being there too about two desk rows over.
"Today we're making planet models, each one of you will choose a planet, or dwarf planet, and create a paper model with a full paragraph description of said planet-" Winn looked over at Zim, he eagerly had his paw raised, arm shaking violently. She arched a brow, "Zim?"

"Miss Winn lady, I have a strong desire to use the bathroom." He stated calmly. Winn looked at the time.
"It's only five minutes into class, Zim, you really have to go?" She asked.
"YES!!- I uh, mean, yes... please." He inquired with extreme eagerness. Winn eyed him and just waved a dismissive hand. Zim squeaked and left the room.
Dib noticed the questioning look on Winns face.
"He's an alien yknow." When he said that, a few kids groaned like, 'not this again.'
Winn didn't comment on that, just gave him a glance. "Okay guys, the materials are all on the counters, you can use a textbook or your phones to research facts about your particular planet." She said, and immediately the kids began their work.
Winn watched the kids but as time waxed, she noticed the lengthy time Zim has been gone. "I'll be back kids, keep working... gotta drop off some papers to take to the office." She said, getting up and abruptly leaving. Dib was the only one who noticed her fib since she didn't appear to have any papers on her. So, naturally he followed after her when nobody was watching.
Winn took broad steps down the halls, she immediately went into the men's room to find it empty, she frowned. "That little Irkan better not have left school grounds." She grumbled, when Winn turned she almost tripped over Dib. "GAH! Wha- way to go to almost give me a heart attack,  what are you doing here? " she hissed.
"I could ask the same of you, miss Winn. And you know what Zim is? You believe in aliens?"
"Uh... hm.. you're smart kid, and yeah I guess you could say that, hey, since you and Zim share a history I guess, mind helping me out to find him?" Winn asked. Dib smiled and nodded.
"Since I need to watch over the class, you find Zim and bring him back. I'll throw in some extra credit to your project even as thanks." She winked.
"Oh boy! Extra credit! Okay I won't let you down!" Dib said with enthusiasm, running down the hall. She gave a small sigh of relief, she needed him to be distracted, didn't want herself to be exposed.

Time passed, before Dib dragged Zim back into class with a big smile on his face.
"Yknow when I said, bring him back... you didn't really need to handcuff him." Winn said leaning back in her chair, the bell rang and the students stampeded out of the room.
"LET ME GO YOU HUMAN DUB WORM!" He squirmed.
"It was the only way I could stop him, trust me it's a long story, but basically I chased him across the city and he was trying to build a death ray." Dib gushed out, "now since you know he's an alien, are you gonna take him in!? Because if you are, please credit me, I was the first one after all to know it-"
"No.."
"Wha-? Dib looked at his teacher with confusion.
"No." She reapted,  "but don't worry, he will be punished for leaving school grounds."
"But... but he's AN ALIEN! Who's trying to take over the world no less." Dib pointed.
" AND I WILL SUCCEED! -" Zim was cut off by a nasty glare from Winn and he bit his lip.
"Dib, you're gonna go far in life with that determination of yours, but.. between you and me, humanity has a few brain cells to gain before you decide to reveal aliens to the world. Reveal him now, and you might just start hysteria.. or war. Ever thought about that?" She explained. To Dib, this was new, he didn't think about how afraid people would've been. The controversial topics that could cause calamity.
"I... oh... I only thought about the truth people would know, and the credibility I'd get for not being insane." He said looking at Zim who just seemed lost about the whole thing.
"The world has a long way to knowing the truths of the universe, trust me... it doesn't end well for nobody.. Set Zim free, plus, just eyeing him... it doesn't seem like he goes far with much. But he has zest, I'll be sure to put that to use. Go on home, kid. I'll take care of him." Winn smiled, as she got up, walking around her desk, ruffling up Dibs hair. He looked up at her, and smiled, after setting Zim free, he left.
Zim tried to run off but was caught by the scruff of his shirt.
"Nope, you're staying behind." She said with a tinge of anger in her tone.
Zim looked up at the tall woman, " you can't tell Zim what todo!"
"Mm... yes I can, and you're going to clean my room." She let him go and gave him a duster she pulled out from a drawer at one of the lab stations.
Zim held it with disgust and when he opened his mouth that glare of hers caused it to close in a second. So he resorted to cursing under his breath about 'Worm breath, Dib. And how this was stupid, and how he'd get revenge.' Winn, in turn, just sat back and braced papers keeping an eye on the extraterrestrial trouble maker in the meantime.
