Babysitting

It's  8am and you're rushing to go to your cousins house to babysit her kids, Jade, Jason and Jackson.

Just when you were about to leave the house, Luke was standing in front of your door. It looked like he was just about to ring the door bell. 

"Hey Estefi." Luke greeted you. 

"Hey Luke! Not to be rude or anything but what are you doing here?"

Luke said that he wanted to hang out with you today and told him it was a bad time because you were going to babysit three kids today. After all its Jade's birthday. 

"Do you want to come with me? I don't think my cousin would mind."

Luke smiled and took the bus with you to your cousins house. You warned him how annoying Jade, and Jackson because they always fight each other. On the other hand Jason's the one who's well behaved even though he's only one years old. 

He couldn't wait to see those angels you were talking about. He got so excited and you had to apologize again for changing your hangout plan with him. "It's okay Estefi! You know I love kids". 

When you two were just outside your cousins gate  you could hear the kids screaming already. At you asked if your cousin Anne if Luke can help you babysit. She didn't really mind as long as we look after the kids and help decorate the backyard.

"JACKSON! JADE! JASON! CAN YOU PLEASE COME HERE!" She yelled at them. In a few seconds the three musketeers showed up. "so this is Jackson, Jade and Jason" she introduced.  Jackson's 7, Jade's 4 today, and Jason's 1 years old." 

"Estefi, can I help you blow the balloons?" Jade asked. 

"Sure but you have to put away all your toys first and then you can help me okay?" 

She followed your orders. You spend your time blowing the balloons with Jade and Luke sat with Jackson and Jason to ask them some questions. 

You were only a few metres away from them so you heard their conversation.

"Hey, can I play too?" Jackson nodded. "Awesome so you're Jackson and this little one is Jason right?" Jason just smiled at him. He kept the conversation going and played cars with the two boys. 

After you blew balloons, it was time for Jade to get ready for her party. She changed her outfit to a dress to make her look like a real princess. She even had that little tiara and all that. 

Because you were curious about Luke and the boys so you checked up on him. "So what are you guys doing?" 

"We're colouring in on my Spider-Man book" Jackson grinned.

"Oh cool, I love Spider-Man can I have a go." Luke said with a big cheesy grin on his face.

You decorated the backyard with the balloons, Jackson and Jason were still playing together, everything was calm and quiet. You walked into the kitchen to see how your cousin was holding up with the food just then you heard screaming sound coming from the room they were playing in. You ran to the room in a sudden panic thinking something had happened, instead you found Luke, Jade, Jason and Jackson on the floor screaming and giggling due to their tickle fight.

For the rest of the time you were babysitting Luke was playing on the floor. "Estefi you weren't kidding when you said that they're full of energy." 

You decided to look after Jason while Luke played soccer outside with Jackson. 

You just played with Jason. Jason was so sweet, he would pick things up from the floor and give it to you for no apparently reason and his cheeks we so puffy. You wanted to pinch them badly but that might cause him to cry. 

You were having so much fun with them that you didn't even notice that it was almost time for the party.

The guests arrived and the party finally started. Everyone ate first of course. The two of you tried to blend in but you couldn't because there were a lot of little kids and you and Luke blended in with the adults. 

After the party you helped with the clean up along with Luke. 

"Thank you two so much for watching over them. I hope they weren't too bad." Your cousin said. 

"Don't worry they were like little angels" 

"Really?" she sounded surprised. 

"yeah they actually behaved." 

"Maybe you should babysit them instead cause they never listened to me!" 

After you three were finished babysitting, Anne offered to drive you and Luke home. As soon as you two entered the car, Luke drifted off to sleep. "I told you those three would drain all your energy out!" 

"yeah they sure did." She thanked you once again for babysitting her kids today.
