The shop gave me a warm calming feeling. The aroma of the freshly brewed coffee met my nostrils strongly. I told Mr. Colduroy to go home and don't need to wait for me. He agreed and after I bought him his favorite Cinnamon dolce he went home. When he was about to exit the coffee shop, he turned to me and said, "You're not alone okay kiddo, we're here for you if you need anything. We love you okay. Remember that." I just smiled and gave him a hug.

I watched as the car went further and further until I can't see it anymore. Upon entering inside, I browsed the whole cafe and someone caught my eye. It was James. Before I even fixed my eyes on him, he was already staring. After our eyes met he smiled and waved. I did the same too and, sat at the back next to the bookshelves. Before I turn to chapter 4, someone tapped on my shoulders and it was him.

"Do you mind if I sit here? *referring to the chair in front of me."

"Not at all. "

"Do you come here often? This is my favorite coffee shop and I come here in my free time."

"Yeah, I come here also in my free time. Are you okay now? Last time I checked you nearly died."

"Yes, thanks to you and your friends I'm still alive now and I get to see you here."

We chatted for a while and around 4:30 in the afternoon he said his goodbyes. He told me that he still needs to go to the hospital for his weekly check-up. Before he went outside he told me this, "I had fun chatting with you. I'm glad I bumped into you because I was hoping about the day I'll see you again. Take care okay. I wish this will not be the end. Can I have your contact number? It's okay if you don't want to." I gave my number and he was smiling so widely. I told him that he was asking for it and it doesn't mean anything. He was just grinning and said his thanks while I waved goodbye. I was looking at him till he was gone. But before his car made its way to the road, he opened his windows and looked at me again. He smiled and I think it made my heart flutters a little bit.

I stood up to get my second order of Matcha green tea on the counter when something stopped me on my feet. It was the same voice in my dream. I stopped and waited for it to disappear, and it did. I took my order and went to my favorite spot around the back. As I flipped to the pages of my book, my eyes darted outside and that's where I saw a big bus heading towards where the coffee shop is. I didn't have the strength to move and the next thing I knew everyone around me is screaming. I looked outside and the bus driver was out of sight and everything went black. Then the last thing I heard was the voice from my dream saying, "Wait for me."
