My head was pounding, there is light shining through my eyelids, and I am being rocked back and forth which is making my stomach queasy. I don't want to open my eyes. This is all a dream. Whether it's a good dream or a bad one I don't know yet. Finally gaining more of my senses I pick up on some chatter around me.

"Since John wasn't there, we are heading back to regroup and talk to the chairs about what we should do next." John must have been the person they were looking for in the building. Why did they think that he was going to be there. Where are we headed and why are they going to talk to chairs? Are they taking orders from furniture? That doesn't make any sense.

"Quinn, I'll get you to take our guests downstairs to be washed up before we bring them to see the chairs," they have guests? Is it the people I saw in handcuffs? Am I a guest? Why do guests have to see the chairs. My mind is full with questions that I don't have the answer to.

"What about her? What if she is still unconscious when we land?" I'm assuming he is talking about me now.

How hard did you hit her anyway? She stayed out even during the blast." There was a blast? Why didn't I wake up? Was the blast the reason why they had to get to a safe distance away? Did they blow up the place where I was being held?

"She's awake you fools. Even a child could have seen that." How did he know that I am awake?

Slowly opening my eyes it takes me a few seconds to adjust to the amount of light streaming in from the windows. When my eyes finally start working right I glance around the room that I am in and all the faces looking back at me. It looks as if I am inside a large metal tube with windows and seats on each side. All but four seats are filled with people. You can tell which ones came out of the prison because we are all wearing the same clothing and we are all in shackles, even myself. I can feel the cool metal and weight of them on my wrists. The other people are the ones wearing the skin tight suits who broke into the prison. They all stand holding the bars above their head, which travels down the middle of the tube.

"What's your name?" a voice to my right side. Turning my head I see the man who hit me in the head. Seeing him this close up, you can see the gray in his dark brown hair and how tired his green eyes look, they seemed to have lost any shine they once held.

"Well, can you hear me girl?" he was losing his patience with me and quickly. I nod my head.

"Ok, so then what is your name?" My name? Did I have one? If so, I can't remember it. I shrug my shoulders.

The guy stands up and makes his way in front of me and crouches down.

"My name is Mark, I am a section chief and this is my troop. We are here to help. So, why don't you tell me your name." This guy seemed to be telling the truth, but what do I know, I've been locked in a cell for the past five years. I want to tell him my name like he wants, but I don't even know if I can speak anymore. I want to, but I don't want to be disappointed if I can't.

"Dude, we are almost home," the guy they call Derek came bursting out of a room behind me that I hadn't noticed.

"Alright, everyone prepare for landing." Mark says as he turns to look at me, "let's get you into a seat and buckled in," he holds out his hand for me to take. I take it and he leads me to the closest available seat.

Sitting down I look at the people around me and it comes to my attention that out of everyone here I am the only female. Everyone else is of the male variety.

"You may want to strap in little girl. The landing is always a bumpy ride," one of the guys holding onto the bars above our heads said.

Looking around at everyone else, they are all strapped in with black straps coming from the top of their shoulders and disappearing under their armpits. Scooting forward I see that my black straps hang behind me attached to my seat. I quickly put them on like everyone else. They are uncomfortable, but they must be worn if you want to be safe in the landing. Gaging by the metal cylinder tube like room, the constant rocking motion and the humming of an engine I am going to take a guess and say that I am on a plane. They would sometimes fly by the prison and at first I couldn't remember what they were called, but then one day the word just popped into my head. Maybe in my old life, the one I can't remember, I had been on a plane, but in this life, it is a whole new experience for me and I'm not sure I like it. My stomach has yet to settle, but that could be because I got bonked on the head.
