This is my shitty attempt at a dystopian story thing. Tell me what you think and whether I should carry it on :)

Y/N's POV:

You know you hear about them movies in which the world is attacked by aliens or even robots, yeah well I always thought they were just movies. Until 4 days ago, I was minding my own business trying to clean my apartment when the floor began shaking. I hadn't seen any kind of warning and so I looked outside the window to see if anyone was out noticing the same thing. And they were, they held onto street lamps, trees and even stop signs as they waited for the trembling to stop. That's when it struck, toring down buildings, ripping trees out the ground and kicking cars in its path.

All I remember from then was screaming, I remember my own apartment block being smacked to the side as if it were a block of lego, my ribs cascading into one another as I was thrown to the floor violently, ending up underneath a tonne of rubble. I mean at least I didn't have to pay rent now.

Anyway when I regained consciousness it was gone, but had left the entire area in fragments as it moved on to attack other places who were thankfully slightly more prepared. The earth had been damaged and attacked now by the heat of the sun which passed through the fragmented atmosphere of the earth. In other words it was fucking hot.

The next thing I remember was trying to find survivors, I found a 9 year old boy and old lady from my apartment block, thankfully she was a nurse and tried to numb the pain I was feeling physically. My t shirt was ripped and had little holes all over. I had some type of a belt over my shoulder and across my chest, putting a slight bit of pressure against my ribs to stop them from aching as much.

Across the street I found a girl the same age as me who I went to high school with, she had minor concussions and couldn't stop crying. We spent the rest of the day searching for others in the rubble but found no one, I had pretty much become the leader of the group since everyone else was crying about their mother, their husband or their siblings. I didn't really have anyone to lose.

Anyway, now four days after it all began, me and my little group were still trying to make our way through California trying to find people who may need help whilst also trying to find some good shelter where we could settle for a while. The sun was basically burning us alive and we had barely eaten. My head was pounding so I tore off the hem of my t shirt and tied it around my head to try and relieve the pain.

We headed towards Calabasas hoping that some of the huge houses there might still be standing. As we made our way through the once beautiful area I swear I heard a voice. Two voices. Then I heard them again but shook it off, I was probably just hallucinating, I had barely eaten or slept.

Nearby we saw a little part of a mansion still standing, well the roof hadn't collapsed yet which was good enough. We sighed in relief at the mere thought of some proper shelter from the scorching Sun. As we headed closer I heard the voices again, I called out this time hoping whoever it was would reveal themselves if they did in fact exist.

'Hello?'

'.....hello....'

I ran towards the shelter and immediately saw two ladies sitting on the floor with their backs against the wall. I sighed in relief and sat down next to them as the rest of the group reached. That's when I immediately recognized them, I had seen them on multiple billboards, magazine covers and on tv. Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

I was taken aback for sure, I wasn't a huge fan but knew that they were famous and rich, so where was their security? Their family? Assistants? Butlers? I don't know who rich people had.

I could see them staring at me and I didn't know how to respond, I just sat there not really giving a damn about whatever they may have thought of me. Before I knew it I had drifted off to sleep, when I woke up everyone else was talking quietly. I realized I was leaning on someone's shoulder and looked up to see it was Kylie. She looked at me with a small smile, I sat up properly as I looked away.

The sun had set so it was darker, I told everyone that we should go out and find some food. I decided I'd go with someone else, Kylie offered to come with me but I kind of ignored her. Ten minutes later me and Kendall were walking through the rubble, as she tried to direct us to nearby grocery shops.

I found out Kendall was actually the same age as me, despite our harsh surroundings I was still able to make her laugh. We finally found a shop which wasn't completely crushed, the building was standing but the front entrance was blocked off by rubble. We stood there trying to think of a way to get in.

I led Kendall around the building and saw that the backdoor was blocked but only by a big chunk of concrete which I figured I could move out of the way. I told Kendall to step back as I firmly gripped onto the concrete block and after some huffing and puffing finally pushed it out of the way. Just as I had a rock had rolled off the roof and hit me right on my forehead but I shrugged it off.

We walked into the shop which was pitch black since there was no electricity. Kendall reached into her backpack and pulled out a torch, we brushed anything we could find into our backpacks then headed back to our shelter.

On the way Kendall had gotten really tired and so I carried her in my arms all the way back. As we reached I looked down and realized she had fallen asleep so I carefully set her down alongside everyone else who were also asleep.

I looked down at all of them before heading out.
