The phrase, "All good things must come to an end," is true enough. Everything must come to an end at some point. This story has an end. Life, in its many forms, must come to an end. Whether we like it or not, us ourselves have to come to an end at some point. How soon it happens we can sometimes control, other times we can't. Even the things that live the longest must come to their fate some time or another. But one thing that doesn't die is time. It keeps going and going no matter what. Even when there is nothing else, time will still go on. One day there may be an end to us. A end to all life as we know it. But, still, with all of that gone time will still keep moving forwards. And with time comes endless possibilities. That may be the scariest story of all.
