She has been telling the tale of Jack and Lillie to the youngsters in the library. To the kids, the story was very interesting and they all sat still and listened to every word that Marie spoke. Even Black Star went silent.
"I remember some of those names in books I've read before." Maka said. "If I remember correctly, there's Cayla Ruskia who was a graduate miester and a teacher at a different academy, Foxx of the Blazing River was the previous Death Scythe of Central America, and Jazmine Crane was the miester of the previous Death Scythe of North America."
"You sure know your history, Maka." Marie praised. "Those figures were legendary and their skills were superhuman. Even in comparison to our current Death Scythes and Stein."
Soul, Tsubaki, and Liz all shivered at the thought of beings more powerful than their current DWMA staff and Death Scythes.
"I wished I could fight them." Black Star said. "I wanna see what they're made of!"
Marie smiled to Black Star's comment and said, "I can guarantee that they surpass you in many aspects. Those individuals that I mentioned have retired from any activities regarding the DWMA and so they go we're media rarely follows them."
"But isn't Jazmine Crane that superstar model and designer?" Liz asked.
"She decided that on her own account, but we still leave her out of our business. Especially if it's as dangerous as infiltrating a witch's hideout or facing a deadly kishin, such as Asura." Marie confirmed. "People like her and her husband choose whatever to participate in our activities or not."
"Can you continue? I wanna know what happens next!" Patty asked impatiently.
"Sure." Marie said clearing her throat. "Let's see, we were at..."
~Final day of the 'DWMA Equality Change Campaign.'
As the last day dawns, Lillie and Jack's activities are showing results and paying off. Students and staff are joining their cause and are taking action. Teachers and professors are changing their once weapon miester separate class to mix and accepting students who are willing to take those classes. Students are choosing to stay with their partners instead of changing, started living together, and in one case, with a certain scythe weapon and his miester, are officially starting a romantic relationship.
Lillie and Jack decided to take one final walk around the campus to see if they missed anything or if anyone needed help regarding their campaign. As they were walking outside the main building, Jack froze in place leaving Lilllie in question.
"Do you hear that?" Jack asked Lillie.
Following the noise, which turned into voices, then it turned to yelling. She the duo turned the corner, they were surprised to find two adults that were tearing the campaign posters. The one yelling was standing from atop a ledge and had a few beaten up student at her feet. It was Cayla and Foxx.
"Alright fleabags, anyone else wants to challenge us?!" Cayla asked loudly. "The rules we once had have not changed since the day Lord Death started the DWMA and you all have the nerve to follow these two rule breakers and change them?!" and with that she tore another poster.
Foxx stood by leaning against a wall watching Cayla rage, then he spotted Jack and Lillie in the distance. He slowly got up and said something to get Cayla's attention. Cayla quickly caught on to what Foxx was saying. She jumped off the ledge and trotted towards the two rebels keeping her angered face all the while. Soon, she and and Lillie were staring down at each other. The pressure between Lillie and Cayla's souls are wavering strongly. Some of the others around them backed off in fear and intimidation.
