a month and a half later

briley had gone to san fransisco just under 2 months ago, to visit her old friends and family, and to spend a bit of time there because she was stressed and was missing home.

she landed in LA late last night, and she was surprising grayson today, as he thought she was home in 2 more weeks.

ethan was in on it, but the plan changed as they had a lot of editing to do today.

briley parked in the drive, and called ethan.

"yo" he said, it sounded like he was walking out of the room.

"hey, i'm here! what's grayson doing?" she asked playing with her nails.

"i'll come out to you so he doesn't hear me, hold up" he said hanging up.

"hey e" she said getting out, and hugged him.

"he literally just fell asleep on my bed like 10 minutes ago while we were editing, so perfect timing" he said laughing a little

"i'll go wake him up and tell him to start editing because i need a break or something" he shrugged.

"okay, i'll hide somewhere" she giggled and followed him in the house.

ethan walked into his bedroom, closing the door behind him, and briefly heard the two talk.

her phone buzzed, seeing ethans text "come in now"

she snuck in and stood behind grayson, putting her hands over his eyes softly

"guess whooooo" she said and giggled.

grayson turned quickly, his face lighting up.

"hey babygirl" grayson said nd she hugged him while he was on the chair.

he stood up, still holding her still, causing her legs to wrap around his waist.

she kissed him and smiled

"ew no! out. now!" ethan shouted

"you are not banging in my room! out! ew!" ethan shouted and the two laughed walking to graysons room.

"what are you doing back early?" grayson asked

"this was when i was originally coming back, i just wanted to surprise you" she said and smiled

he softly put her on his bed and sat next to her.

"i missed you. and i'm still sorry for being a dick before you did go" he apologised

"it's okay gray. i'm over it" she smiled, running her nails through his hair softly as his head lay on her stomach.

"i knew it was you even before you spoke" grayson said

"what?! how!" she said looking at him.

"because i saw your baby blue nails in the reflection of the screen" his said and laughed lightly.

"oh my gosh" she said.

"you know what i really wanna do right now?" grayson said turning his head slightly

"what?" she smiled at him

"i wanna go to a pumpkin patch. tomorrow's october. you can't stop me" he smiled

"if you want" she sighed sarcastically

"wait really!" he said sitting up

"duh" she said

"yes! ethan!!" he shouted running out of the room.

grayson grabbed his keys, running to his car.

"he's honestly a child at heart" she said to ethan as they walked out of the rooms at the same time.

"watch him when you guys have a family. he'll be worse with kids" ethan said as the walked outside.

"wait- you think grayson and i will have a family together?!" she asked

she obviously loved grayson, and would love to have a family with him, she had never actually thought that far ahead. and it made her heart melt that ethan even sees it.

"everything okay? your very smiley" grayson said to briley as she got in the car 

"yeah! i'm okay" she said and nodded.

"grayson." briley said

"what?!" he said innocently

"you guys are seriously 6 foot giants in here. all the kids are like. under 5ft" she said and giggled.

"then you fit in then" ethan said, roasting her.

"i hate you so much" she said slapping his arm.

"let's go i'm bored" ethan said

"we will when the 6 foot child is ready" briley sighed looking at grayson.

"okay i'm ready to go" he said, his arms full of pumpkins.

they walked to the parking lot, and grayson handed her the keys.

"you can drive" he said.

"your kidding" she said and giggled, stopping when no one laughed.

"why would i be kidding?" he asked putting the pumpkins in the back seat.

"you trust me to drive your porsche?! i've never even see ethan drive it!" she said shocked

"i need a nap" he said

"oh my gosh this is awesome" she said excitedly.

she took a snapchat, of her baby blue nails next to the car, captioning it

"new nails match baes whip 🤤🖤🦋"

"what are you doing?" ethan asked as she got in.

"what?! this is once in a lifetime experience i need to show it off" she giggled, taking a photo of her nails on the steering wheel

"okay i might take it back now" grayson said

"what no!" she said putting her phone down.

"can i go to chick-fil-a at least?" she asked, pouting at grayson.

"fine" he groaned

and she smiled, causing a smile to appear on his face.

the sound of graysons soft snores were heard in the car as she drove, but covered by her music playing.

"hi! welcome to chick-fil-a what can i get yo- oh my gosh! briley! in the iconic blue porsche! can i get a photo with y'all?!"  she smiled brightly

"of course! grays sleeping right now sorry" she said and giggled, then ethan rolled his window down.

the girl took a photo, and the ordered their food, driving to the next window.

the girl at the window told her the total,  and she pulled out her card, handing it too her, when graysons arm appeared, and the lady took his.

"gray seriously?" she said

"what? it's a boyfriend thing. i do it every time. your never ever gonna stop me" he said smirking, and the lady handed briley the food

"you were just asleep- how" she said

"i have my ways" he smirked.
