"briley! your so grown up!" he smiled, as she stood in shock.

"your still- still with her" she stuttered, seeing the woman next to him.

the woman who ruined her family.

the woman he cheated on her mom with, briley caught them and had to keep her mouth shut for 5 months until her heart was broken to the point where she broke down in front of her mom, telling her everything. at only 9 years old.

"this is kelly. this is our twin daughters, hannah and ella" he smiled

"i-i can't believe you. you ruined my family" she said, her voice cracking as she glared at the woman in front of her.

"briley, it's fine it's been 10 years. me and your mom are both re-married and everything's fine" he shrugged like nothing happened

"i was nine years old. do you know how broken i was? getting paid to keep my mouth shut about what you did? then you finally got caught and ran away with this bitch" she said, hatred fill her voice

"don't ever contact me again. you disgust me" she said walking away, until he grabbed her arm

"briley please. let's talk over lunch? you can meet your sisters?" he smiled.

"you girls are very beautiful and i would love to get to know you, but with all respect, i really really don't like your father and don't want anything to do with him, so dm me on instagram and we could talk" briley smiled at the girls, who looked around 12

"goodbye. dad" she said, walking away.

she let out an angry sigh, and looked up to see grayson and ethan not that far ahead of her, seeing what happened

"who was that baby?" grayson asked as she threw herself into his arms

"my dad and his new family." she said disgusted.

"briley- i'm so sorry" he said as he kissed her forehead.

"don't be. he's an asshole, it's not your fault" she said

"i need food. let's go?" she said, fake smiling.

after a long day in nyc, they arrived back to the twins family home in new jersey.

"are you sure you okay now baby?" grayson asked as briley sat on the kitchen counter, and he stood between her legs

"yeah, i'm just still in shock because i haven't seen him in nearly 11 years. i didn't know how to react." she said

"apart of me still misses him though. i feel horrible for treating him this way but i also feel like he did it to himself for cheating on mom." she said picking her nails.

"i'm sorry- i totally shouldn't be whining about how bad of a person my dad is. holy shit i'm so horrible" she said sighing

"no briley that's what i'm here for" he said wrapping his arms around her waist.

"i love you baby" she said, pulling his face closer to kiss him.

"come on, tell me everything. let it all out" he smiled weakly.

"gray i don't wanna be rude or like offend you- oh my gosh i'm making this even worse" she groaned loudly

"briley calm down. i'm okay with it" he said, walking and grabbing the keys.

"what are you doing?" she asked

"we're going for a drive and you're gonna tell me everything" he smiled.

she grabbed her uggs, and a hoodie, then walked with him to the red truck.

"i don't deserve you" she said holding his hand as he drove

"i love you babygirl. it's what i'm here for" he said smiling
