I Can't See

Bobby

The referee said, "I assure you no person can look beyond either item."

George asked the ref and one judge to place the blindfold over Bobby's eyes, and the bag over his head. "Make sure it is secure with the draw-string pulled under his chin. Double check it and assure yourselves he cannot view the least bit."

Betzy's cheeks flashed red. Her stomach turned while spewing a sour taste into her mouth. Dianna placed an arm around her and patted her left shoulder.

The judge said, "I certify no one can see any movement from these items."

George replied, "Only a handful of men and women on the earth can watch with their ears. To make it fare, I would like for three of the toughest and meanest winners from today's fights to help number forty win the fight. That will be four of you against one."

A foursome of roughest appearing fighters immediately raised their hands above their heads and snorted. Each projected a sneer from their faces. Betzy's face turn pale. Her whole body went rigid. Tears streamed from her eyes.

One entered from the front of Bobby. another from behind, the third came upon the left and the last emerged by the right. Betzy eyes squinted shut.

Bobby stood quietly as they entered the ring. Then he crouched down and pumped himself into air about a yard above all four rivals. As he descended, his legs extended outward kicking the one his left and the other on his right. He flipped one more time directing these punts to the remaining two. All four laid on the mat appearing to sleep like children taking a nap.

The referee held Bobby's arm in the air and announce him with the win. The arena went wild as the viewers jumped up and down chanting, "Redeemer, Redeemer," many times.

All the remaining fighters withdrew accept for Lieutenant Colonel Steve Black aka "Locomotive." He is the current Grand Champion of FF. and also exhibited the ear technique which Bobby revealed.

Thursday, Day Four – Women's Division

Betzy is fighting for the women's title match today. They began with twelve contestants and have whittled it down to Pat Black from Chiang Mai, Thailand and Betzy.

The contest began slowly with hits and kicks. They blocked every endeavor to make contact. By the end of round one the effort had swiftly increased. The second round started with a faster pace, but exhaustion produced sluggishness.

Pat was declared winner by three judges' decision. She had made two more contact hits than Betzy. Neither had made any decisive punches or punts.

Friday, Day Five – The Men's Title

Steve Black aka Locomotive and Bobby opened relaxed and slow. Each boot and blows developed with obstruction. Every attempt to throw or flip caused the other to land on his feet.

The second round found each using blindfolds. They flew while trying to dominate the battle. Each attempt was prevented. Both were airborne. Each of them landed only one kick.

The judges declared the fight a no-win (tie.) Steve remained the titleholder while Bobby rose to number two in the international association. Retired General Jerry Lee Lockhart presented him a ring with a blue sapphire stone, a certificate and blue robe with the title of Grand Master the back.

General Lockhart said, "We have witnessed the two best fighters in the world. Black and Davis overcame handicaps to be here today. Both were wounded in the war. These two are a mighty force. They are the best examples of humankind. Their wives Pat Black and Betzy Davis are the top two in the women's division of Fraternal Fear."

The audience gave Steve, Bobby, Pat and Betzy a standing ovation.

Affirm and Affect

Betzy

Betzy invited General Lockhart and his wife Nang Chom to supper since they were spending the night in our town at the Inn of Beverly. Bobby had invited Lieutenant Colonel Black, Pat, Alice and George. Bobby called Momma and Mrs. Mendez to ask if it was all right to add the six to the evening meal.

The Blacks had accompanied the Lockharts in their private jet from Thailand.

Momma informed Bobby of her most recent vision where she perceived the extra guests coming to dinner. As she talked to him, Betzy could envision the extra visitors informing them about their mission. She envisioned Bobby in an Air Force Uniform. He possessed the chiseled body of a great athlete or a movie star and projected a regal glow.

Betzy stated, "This is a daydream before my eyes? I froze for a few seconds my focus became fuzzy then sharp again." A bright light flashed before her eyes and repeated the scene as if it was taking place as he spoke.

The mantle of the gift of perceiving things ahead of everyone else appeared in a vlsion. However, it created a churning and shivers in her body. Part of her says it is great, the rest screams help.

In the vision, Agnes appeared with an older Thai lady name Mae Sua who reprised the former predictions Agnes had made. The Thai lady said, "You are blessed to be an ambassador of mercy. You will triumph against evil. Women will call you Sister."

A grand a vision of Bobby and Betzy appeared of them receiving Air Force uniforms. His had the rank of Colonel, and hers sported Lieutenant Colonel's insignia.

General Lockhart told them, "Both of you have been transferred to the active reserves. Bobby will command three squadrons -- one intelligence, one investigation, and one Air Police. Betzy will lead three medical units all with doctors and nurses who received scholarships from the Air Force. Thus they are fulfilling their six year commentment."

Everyone noticed as Betzy stared at the wall. Nang Chom said, "You just had a vision from Agnes and my Great Aunt Mae Sua."

All at the table repeated they received the same message.

General Lockhart presented us with uniforms and reminded us we were in reserve units. "The intelligence and investigation detachments will keep you informed when you need to activate your squadrons.

Those you and Bobby fought against this week will be the men and women in your commands. There will be special Hattons assigned to your units.Bobby, Lieutenant Colonel Steve Black will be your Executive Officer. He will bring you up-to-date on all you will need to undergo. Any questions."

Bobby asked, "What about my disability?"

"Sorry, you were certified to be fit for service today."

"When do we start?"

"This weekend. Black will pick you up tomorrow morning at 0700 hours."

Bobby embraced Berzy. They were closer than their memories permitted.

Momma woke them at 0530. they finished bathing and dressed in their new uniforms when she screamed, "Breakfast is ready."

Walt was at the table with a smirk spread across his face. He chimed, "Mom and Daddy are in the Air Force."

Bobby said, "Yes we are!" He reached over and tickled their son. Walt shrieked an exaggerated laugh. Momma said, "Do not play at the table." Father and son peered at her with the drooped eyes and mouth.

Momma said, "Quit moping and eat. I don't know which one I am going to whip first." Their eyes frowned and slumped further.
