Chapter 9: Forgetting

—A few days later—
 
As of lately, Izuku has been extremely quiet in class. Usually he would mutter a lot during class, but now he just sits with his back hunched, staring into nothing.

His classmates still talk about him, but he just stays quiet.

It gets to the point where he just stays in the same class without moving.

He skips lunch, and just sits still until a teacher tells him to leave.

They always tell him, "Midoriya, go home. You've been here all day, leave the school grounds."

He always responds with a fake smile and tone of voice,

"Oh! Okay, I'll leave now. Sorry for everything." No one believes that there's anything wrong......

As If they know everything.

Day after day, he would fake smile, fake laughs, fake personality, fake everything. He put on a fake mask, a fake persona. Every time he smiles, laughs, being nice, it's all fake.

Everyone has forgotten his old self. No one realizes that everything is fake.

At this point, even Izuku has forgotten about everything.

But he still knows that he's broken.

He's not happy, he's not smiling, he's not laughing, he's not nice.

He's sad.

Behind everything is a victim.

He's been abused by his so called childhood best friend.

Every laugh, there's pain.

He knows that he's broken.

But everyone forgot who he was.

He knows everyone is fake.

He knows. He knows that no one likes him, everyone is just using him, toying with him, no one actually cares for him.

He knows, and hates it.

He just wants to forget everything....even his self...
