I walked out of the photography classroom and headed to my locker to put the books and classwork I didn't need to bring to my dorm, exchanging it for all of my homework before heading to the Valegro house.
I walked into the house and headed up to my dorm, using the key card to unlock the doors. when I opened the door, I saw that Belle and Jayed were already doing their homework.
"Hey guys" I said with a smile as I sent my bag down and sat at one of the open desks, and pulled out my homework.
"Hey Hope" Belle replied "How was school, you know after drawing class"
"It was pretty good, what about you guys" I asked. After hearing both of them say it was good I asked, "Are you excited for riding?"
Jayed was the first to reply, "of course! That's the whole reason I came to this school" she said with a bright smile and small chuckle.
Belle and I both laughed as Shay walked into the dorm and said, "Hey guys, sorry I took so long. My teacher held us back because people were standing with the door open or something she didn't like."
"Its fine" I replied, "we've just been working on homework before we have to get ready to ride."
"Oh ya!" Jayed said "I forgot to ask you guys what your riding schedules are. Mine is dressage on Mondays and Fridays, show jumping on Tuesdays, and cross country on Wednesday."
Belle spoke first, "I have show jumping Mondays and Fridays, cross country Tuesdays, and dressage Thursdays. So sadly none with you Jayed"
"Show jumping, dressage, then cross country" I replied
"Mine is the same as Hope's" Shay said
"Well at least I have cross country with Shay and Hope." Jayed shrugged "Anyway, we should probably get ready to head down and tack up our horses."
We all agreed and packed up our homework before quickly putting our riding cloths on. I put on a plain grey shirt, dark grey and purple riding pants and my tall black boots before walking out of one of the two bathrooms and saw the other three girls ready to go.
Once we got to our house barn, we saw a lady with short blond hair and a light blue shirt with the River Ridge logo in the corner who smiled at us but didn't speak until the entire barn had showed up. "Hello everyone" she said with a smile "I am Mrs. Simons, the dressage coach here. If you have me on Mondays and Fridays I would like you to get you horse ready and go to indoor arena one. Those of you with show jumping will tack up and meet Ms. Jen in indoor arena two while those with cross country will tack up before heading to the indoor round pen."
She then dismissed us and the students began to talk amongst each other while we all got the horses ready. I headed to my locker in the tack room to get my stuff and tack up in Jazz's stall.
"Hey boy" I said with a smile to my dark bay pony and opened the door. He greeted me by nuzzling my hand as I stepped in and set the tack on the door before beginning to brush him and clean his feet.
Once I had tacked up, I lead Jazz to indoor arena two with Belle and Danger, and Shay and Aztec. We walked in and saw a woman with the same shirt Mrs. Simons had who I assumed was Ms. Jen
"Hello everyone" she said with a smile. "I am your show jumping instructor, Becky Jen but you guys can call me Becky. Now please mount up and start warming up on the right rein."

Finally to the horses! In the next chapter the girls will get their first lesson while being judged to decide what team they'll be on (pic is Shay's gelding, Aztec)
