"It's that time." Aura breathed in the car they were in. They headed to the camp where they would train to become the Soldiers of Hope.

"You sure you want to do this?" Naiemi asked. "This is gonna be hard..." a soft wimper was heard in the carriage.

"I-I don't want to do this..." she muttered.

"Hey... it's okay... what is your name?" Shun asked, trying to calm the girl down.

"J-Junho..." she muttered. "J-Junho K-Kirigiri..."

"A Kirigiri? Man, I bet you can solve cases and fight like her!" Aura smiled.

"N-Not exactly..." she responded. "I can't fight as her... not yet. But they expect me to be one of the Soldiers of Sai, a Soldier of Hope, just like my mother."

"Well..." Naiemi sighed, snuggling in her grandfathers coat. "There is no such thing as not trying."

"Yeah." Shun agreed. He took off his hood, his glasses shining.

"Well, okay..."

"Hey! You guys get off. You've reached your destination." The soldier said, pulling everyone out of the carriage. They all walked to the area as they were informed to stand and salute. Then, a commander with a symbol of wings on his jacket came.

"My name is Commander Notch, and from now on you will be living here to train and fight the Monokuma's! If you do not pass, you will proceed to that wagon and go back to Kaddi Village, never to return here again and be eaten." He looked over at one of the students.

"You! What is your name?" He pointed. The kid jumped, as he saluted.

"I-I am Masami Takiwaza from the East of Wall Sakura! Village Anamosa!" He introduced. He squinted his eyes in fear. But Notch just walked over to him and kicked his shin. Masami fell down with tears started to form.

"If you're eyes are going to keep on being closed, then you will surely be eaten by the Monokuma's." Notch hissed, moving on to the next person.

Dang... he's more aggressive than I thought... Aura thought in her head.

"I am Shun Tanamura. From the City of Angai." Shun introduced. Notch forced him to take off his hood.

"If you keep using that hood you will get caught in the rooftops! And suffer there to di-" he was interuptted by someone eating. Everyone looked at the direction of the boy. He had dyed tips with a kitkat in his hand.

"What are you eating?" He asked sternly. The boy jumped and saluted, still munching on his kitkat.

"Shuuen Ushiromiya! From the Southern part of Hana Village! It is a kitkat sir!" Shuuen introduced, smiling.

"And where did you get this kitkat?" Notch asked.

"F-From the merchant s-sir! I only eat kitkats because everything else tastes like a-ash." He broke part of his kitkat and gave it to Notch with a cheeky smile. Notch hesitated, but smirked and took it anyway. He walked to Naiemi.

"What is your name?"

"I am Naiemi Nirai! From the West side of Hana Village!" She said. Although her posture was correct, she felt hesitant. Fortunately, he didn't notice and walked to a girl with a black skirt, black top and long hair.

"Name?" Notch asked.

"I am Mina from the Southern part of Baki Village." She introduced. She shifted her foot a little. Notch stared as he crouched down to her boot and reached for a knife.

"Why do you have this?"

"F-For defense sir!" Mina responded. Notch frowned as he reached Aura. Aura started sweating as he asked the same question.

"Who are you?"

"I-I a-am Aura Ceoh from the eastern part of Hana Village! I am here to avenge my mother." Aura's eyes widened as tears started forming. Notch looked pist, but he hesitated as he walked to the next person.

"Ryu Kurokawa from the northern part of Hagana Village." One introduced.

"Mizuki from the eastern side of Gianni Village." Another introduced. But his hand was wrong, so Notch pinned him down.

"You are a disgrace if you ever make that mistake again!" Notch hissed. But a girl came up and helped Mizuki back up.

"And who are you to help this disgrace?!" The girl saluted as she spoke.

"I am Light from the western part of Haina Village." She said.

"Hmph. You get another chance." Notch hissed he walked to a girl with a small plushie behind her back.

"KYAA!I-I'm Amari from the easter- i mean southeastern part of Gianni Villa." She introduced, panicking and trying to hide her plushie. But of course Notch took it.

"What's this?"

"T-That's my plushie! It was for my g-grandmother..." she cried. Notch just tore off its limbs and threw it on the floor.

{I am so sorry.}

"Aya from the northwestern part of Yenia Village! Here to serve for the king!" A girl said with a cheeky smile.

"What you're only going to do for the king is be BAIT for these Monokuma's!" Aya's smile turned to a saddened face as a soldier comes out and stands in front of Aya.

"Don't say that to Aya sister!" He said in defense. Although he stood in front of Aya, he had a white mask on, not showing his face.

"Who are you to say that?!" Notch asked in a snobby tone.

"I am IF, here to protect everyone." He said.

"Light is a weird enough name, but IF?" Masami muttered. Light and Shuuen punched him in the arm.

"Well if you're here to protect everyone, then you will DIE easily." Notch hissed. But a paper being folded was heard, and Notch ran to him.

"What're YOU doing, huh cadet?"

"I am Motaru! From the Southern part of Java Village! I'm just simply doing origami."

"If you keep doing this origami then you will be eaten by the Monokuma's!" Notch threatened. Motaru jumped and placed the folded paper in his pocket. Until Notch was done, everyone was assigned a cabin to stay in, along with a cafeteria to stay in.

"Thank god Notch was nice enough to put kitkats in the cabinets! Now I won't starve!"

"Man... being here is gonna be tough..." Light muttered.

"What do you think we're gonna do here?" Aura asked Naiemi.

"I don't know... remember Ty, Mitch and Jerome had that gear? Maybe we'll be able to learn that!" She answered.

"That seems like a reasonable answer. But what else?" Shun asked.

"Maybe... I'm not sure. But what the future holds is what's gonna help me fight these beasts." Aura declared, slamming a fist on the table. But behind the doors, Notch sighed.

"Your daughter will  be a great warrior..." He muttered.
