[HIATUS] Soldiers of Hope, Fighters of Despair

Camp: Book 3 Chapter 1

"So... two cadets fallen... what a shame..." Aura's father sighed, his eyes looking invisible to see.

"Ashley sister... Dakota brother..." IF sobbed. Aya trudged behind him and patted his back.

"It's okay IF, we'll mourn for them when this is all over." They both walked to where everyone else was, Sub and Ty staying behind due to injuries.

"You did good Sub. I just wish your mute was helpful." He sighed. Sub gave a glare that said 'shut up'. Ty chuckled as he helped Sub up and limped to the others.

"Here we mourn for two lost cadets... both friends and family. They will forever be missed." Seto said, covering the dead corpses with there jackets. Everyone hung their heads, for tomorrow they all had to move on.

"Shall we set up camp?" Adam said once the burial was over.

"Let's get out of Monokuma zone." Mitch commented. They all nodded.

"Here!" Aura called, landing in a shady area where barely any Monokuma's were in range. Everyone one by one landed on there feet, except Dean who toppled on Walter.

"You son of a bi-"

"Not now." Jerome growled. Dean got on  her feet and backed away.

"Well... let's rest. My team gets first shift." Jason called.

"Oh no, Jason. You're resting." Ian protested.

"But-"

"You heard 'em, Probst. The condition you're in is highly dangerous. I'll replace you." Nanami said. Jason muttered something, but nodded.

The night was quiet, among the night guards, a murmur of conversations and comments about the chance of survival.

"Gee... I miss them..." Alesa sighed.

"Ashley and Dakota?" Adam asked silently. She nodded. Adam placed his hand on her hand as he kissed her cheek.

"It's okay... we'll get there. We'll avenge them once this is over." Alesa shed a tear as she closed her eyes and nodded, placing her head on his shoulder.

Little did anyone know Naiemi was recording the entire scene.

A blazing fire was lit, due to the tempurature of the air, the guards starting to get hypothermia.

"Finally... I was freezing..." Mitch shivered. A laugh was heard and everyone woke up.

"D-Did everyone hear that?" Junho asked.

"Yeah... a Monokuma is near..." Ahari said, pointing to the glowing eye in the distance.

"Oh dear..." Asahina shivered.

"Let's get out of here before it's too late..." Shun claimed. Everyone agreed as they packed there stuff and abscond.

(HAHA)

"H-How long until we get to the base...?" Kohiru panted.

"Almost there, thats for sure." Naegi said. "Depending on our situation, that is."

"Naegi, where's that luck of yours?" A laugh said. A girl was shown on the screen, blond pigtails with two bears on each side.

"Oh god..." Kurzyru moaned. "This bitch..."

"Oh Kurzyru, you pest. Just wait until you meet me again." She laughed.

"Shut it Enoshima, what is it that you want?" Aura's father exclaimed.

"Mr. Ceoh? That you?" She chided.

"That's Junko Enoshima?!" Ivan exclaimed, his little amulet bouncing.

"New recruits, how sweeet. I just can't wait until you reach me. However, before you come find me, face my army of Monokuma's!" She laughed once again as the Monokuma screen turned black and all red eyes flashed to the group. The cadets were in a defensive ring in two groups.

"Oh god..." Skye stuttered. The Monokuma's threw giant grenades and each ducked.

"MOVE!" Seto screamed, pushing everyone away. The grenade exploded, dust everywhere.

"SETO!" Ty cried. As the Monokuma laughed, it walked away, ignoring everyone else. His team fell onto their knees, but a purple force field was faintly glowing in the dust.

Seto was alive, but injured badly.
