(And yet again I'm coming back with these. If you guys (and I'm talking about the roleplayers) didn't know, back when I wrote Skylox smut of some sort, I would post mini-chapters to just entertain and to tell you things that are missing. These things aren't going to be common, but lets start anyway.)
Aura, Shun, and others hid something from everyone else. They disguised the true secret on why Aura joined the Soldiers of Hope. The story they told was a lie.
~The True Story~
Aura woke up under a shady tree, her memories fuzzy before she slept. A distant voice was calling her.
"Aura... wake up." Shun called. Aura slowly got up and looked around.
"S-Shun...?" Aura asked weakly.
"Aura... we need to go before Mom gets mad." Shun said, carrying a large bag of wood and sticks. Aura got up and grabbed her bag and walked along the stone bridge made by survivors from the beasts attack. A dead silence between the two as townspeople were walking back and forth along the bridge. As they walked by, they saw a crowd of people staring in awe of a group of eight. Strangely enough, there was a fish and a furry. The rest were all humans.
"COMMANDER JASON AND HIS TEAM ARE HERE!" One exclaimed. But there were only eight, all covered in blood. An old woman ran up to the one of the soldiers.
"P-Please tell me... Please tell me Komaeda made it back..." the old woman stuttered. The soldier hung his head in disappointment as he grabbed something out of his pocket.
"He fought well. But sadly..." the soldier took out a bandaged object as the woman fell on the floor, crying. She slowly unwrapped the object to see Komaeda's hand.
"H-He was so young... why must he die...?" She stuttered as her husband took her and left. One of the soldiers eyed down Aura and Shun. He had an amulet. Strangely enough, it was a friend of hers. And her mom.
"Adam..." Aura muttered. He managed a small smile before heading out with a frown. Just by the looks of it, Adam had lost a loved one, along with his friends.
"Eight survivors... preposterous. That commander should've trained them better. We would be able to learn more about these beasts." A man grumbled. Aura tensed up and grabbed a stick to hit his head with.
"Oi! What do you think you did you little runt?!" The man exclaimed.
"Just becausw there are only eight survivors doesn't mean they can't fight more. Yeah, they lost most of the team, but we still have survivors that can have information." Aura scoffed. The man raised his hand to slap Aura, but Shun dragged her away to a nearby alley.
"Ow ow OW! SHUN!" Aura screamed. Shuj dropped her and glared.
"Why in the name of god would you do something stupid?"
"It wasn't 'stupid'. That man was criticizing the hard work those soldiers put in!" Aura exclaimed. Shun sighed.
"Let's just go home."
"But before we go, I want to join the Soldiers of Sai." Aura said before leaving.
