Drake hated the castle. Ever since he'd healed from his injuries (Herobrine sprouting apologies), Drake had been allowed to explore his surroundings. He had wandered the halls for hours, searching for anything he could use for his escape. Unfortunately, he'd found nothing. Nada. The front castle doors were sealed shut, with demon guards posted all around it. Drake counted at least ten. There was no escape that way. Drake didn't know wether to feel honored or annoyed by how many guards were posted. It wasn't like he could launch a full-scale attack on the doors. He was only one person. With a hex linking him to Herobrine. Heck, if he tried anything, Hero would notice before Drake could count to ten. He wandered through the halls, sticking his head into room after room. Most were empty, though there were a few that were locked. Drake made a mental note and kept exploring. He found a dining area (which was empty), the kitchens (which were full of demon workers), and a Library (which Drake made a mental note to come back and check out). Drake ended up climbing to the top floor. Oddly, there appeared to be no servants up here. Sending out his senses, Drake realized he was standing at the entrance to a dark corridor, with one door at the very end. Drake could sense this was the only room on this floor. Curious, Drake moved foreword. The doorknob turned easily, and Drake stepped into the room. The room was large, spacious, and seemed slightly warmer than the rest of the building. Drake sensed what appeared to be a lavafall Fountain in one corner , possibly the source of the warmth. A desk lay at another, with bookshelves all around it. Drake could sense magic coming from that area as well. Right in front of Drake, in front of a big window overlooking the landscape, was a bed. This was a bedroom. A shiver of fear ran down Drake's spine. "I shouldn't be here." He thought. Suddenly Drake felt it. A presence by the desk. Drake took a step back. Was he always there, the magic hiding him? Or had he just appeared? "Hello, little one." The voice said softly, and Drake froze, fear flooding his limbs. He was here. "What are you doing in here?" The demon muttered softly. Drake couldn't tell what Hero was feeling. Suddenly the demon changed position, appearing right beside Drake. Drake couldn't move. Fear froze him in place. His mind shot back to the training field, and Hero winced slightly, like he knew what Drake was thinking. Maybe he did. "Shhh." The demon muttered, wrapping his arms around his brother. As much as Drake hated and feared it, a part of him liked having Hero there. Drake quickly pushed the feeling back. Nothing good would come from it. Hero let go. "Sorry I hurt you." He muttered. "I have to quit letting my temper rule me." The demon shook his head. "Are you lost?" Hero seemed to read the answer in Drake's head. "Exploring, eh?" The demon's voice was oddly cheerful. "That sounds like the brother I know." Drake flinched at the title. Hero didn't seem to notice. "Well, these are my chambers." He continued, "If you need to find me, I'm usually up here. Or you can ask a servant, of course." Drake swallowed nervously. Hero seemed to notice. "Oh, go ahead." The demon sighed. "I know your not comfortable around me. Yet." Drake turned and made his way to the exit as fast as he could without running. He could feel the demon's gaze burning into him as he left.
