It's Friday and tonight we are going over to Jack and Lily's apartment for the "Friendsgiving" that he planned...well Lily planned it. I offered to bring something, but she told me not to. It feels wrong not to bring something, but she said no. She also said we don't have to get dressed up, but it's not like Tom was gonna get dressed up anyway. I'm just wearing a white dress with my regular white shoes as always. I know it's probably not the best idea to wear a dress or white, but it looks nice. I walk out of the bedroom and see Tom sitting on the couch,
"You're wearing that?", he asks and I'm taken back,
"Yes? Is there a problem with it?", I ask and look down,
"No, it's cute, I just don't want you to be cold. It's like 60 degrees out.", he says,
"Oh.", I say. I didn't even think about the weather and I'm a person that gets cold really easily,
"Yeah, I'll be right back.", I say as I turn on my heel to head back to the bedroom. I grab a pair of jeans and a nice short sleeve blouse with flowers on it. I also grab a cardigan to put over it. After I'm done getting the dress I put my shoes back on and go back out. Tom's in the same place and when he sees me a smile appears on his face,
"Much better.", he says and stands up from the couch. I give him a polite smile and go to grab my bag from the counter. I grab the keys and Tom tries to take them from me, but I snatch them before he can grab them,
"Give me the keys.", he says,
"Nope, I'm driving.", I say and start to head to the door. He chuckles from behind me and I look over my shoulder and smirk.
The drive to Jack and Lily's apartment was short because they don't live that far from us. I knocked on the door and Jack answered shortly after,
"Y/n!", he says and gives me a big hug,
"Hey.", I say and he pulls away. He gives Tom a handshake and invites us in,
"Just a warning, Lily is trying to make dinner and let's just say it's not going the best right now. She's also a little cuckoo too.", he says and I laugh. He guides us to the kitchen, but we stop when we hear a pan fall and Lily groan loudly after. Cassidy appears from the kitchen with her eyes wide, but when she sees us she smiles,
"Y/n! Tom!", she says happily and comes up to us. She gives Tom a hug, but he peels her off of him. She just rolls her eyes and gives me a hug,
"I haven't seen you in forever!", she says,
"Yeah, I know. I missed you and Troy.", I laugh. She pulls away and we hear Lily groan again,
"I wouldn't go in there if I were you.", Cassidy says. It starts to smell as if something was burning and Jack runs to the kitchen,
"Nope. I'm done. We're eating pizza that's finally. I can't fuc- oh hi!", Lily says as her tone changes when she sees us as she exits the kitchen. I give her a small wave and chuckle,
"Everything okay in there?", Tom asks from next to me and she glares at him,
"Yes everything is fine we're just not gonna have turkey for dinner.", she says as she walks up to me. She wraps her arms around me and squeezes me tightly,
"Gosh I feel like I haven't seen you in so long.", she says and I chuckle,
"What should I do with this turkey?!", Jack calls from the kitchen. Lily rolls her eyes and sighs,
"I'll be right back. Make yourself at home.", she smiles. She walks off to the kitchen and Tom grabs my hand as we follow Cassidy into the living room.
