Kyle's P.O.V.

My ideal day? She's going to give me my ideal day?! I feel just like a kid in a candy store. A whole day with Beth and nothing but fun, this is going to be great. If I'm lucky then she might kiss me, then more.

At The Amusement Park

We walk up to the ticket counter and I buy wristbands for both me and Beth. She looks so excited. After entering through the thing that turns as you go through (do those things even have a name because if they do, no one knows it), she runs for the first roller coaster she sees, and she drags me with her by the arm. We spend almost 4 hours going from ride to ride and stopping for a funnel cake or a hot dog at least twice. Beth's smile never seems to fade, even when she's screaming on a ride.

"Okay, so we've ridden every ride at least twice and played every balloon popper game you saw. Are you ready to go to the Fun Zone yet?" I ask. Beth looks up at me with her brown eyes sparkling.

"Yeah, sure," she responds and starts to walk in the way of the front entrance.

I drive us to the place called "Pete's Fun Zone Arcade and Go Karts" about 15 minutes away from the amusement park. The front of the building is covered in neon lights which are flashing even in the daytime. I hold the door open for Beth (but mostly just so I can stare at her ass). Then we go over and get tokens.

"Ooh! Can we go do go karts?!" she asks excitedly.

"Of course," I smile. She runs over and I hand the guy working them 2 tokens.

"Pick any go kart you want and then I'll you started," he says monotonously. Beth climbs into a kart and fastens her seatbelt. I climb into one near her.

"Please carefully drive your kart over to the starting line," the guy instructs. We make our way over there and Beth glares at me.

"You're going down, Arnold!" she declares.

"Nuh-uh! You are!" I laugh back. The light turns green and we take off as fast as they go. Beth takes the lead but hits the wall as we go around the corner. I laugh as she takes off again. We go under a bridge on the figure 8 track. As we turn the next corner, Beth figures out how to drift and shoots ahead of me. we're neck and neck as we approach the finish line but she crosses first. She sticks her tongue out at me and smiles.

"You may have won this round, but just wait until I kick your ass in Pac-Man.

We spend a few hours at the arcade, battling and laughing over stupid video games. I never knew Beth gets so competitive. We agree to go to a local diner for dinner. We both get cheeseburgers and fries.

"So what movie are we going to see?" Beth asks me.

"I was thinking Guardians of the Galaxy," I respond. Beth practically jumps out of her seat with excitement.

"Guardians of the Galaxy oh my God yesssss," she says loudly. I had no idea how much she'd want to see that. Her cheeks flush when she sees people staring at her and she shoves some french fries in her face. We both laugh and I pay the check before leaving.

Later...

"We. Are. Groot," the small, and for some reason talking tree on the drive-in movie screen says. Beth is now literally bawling into my shirt. It's just a movie, calm the hell down.

"Oh, Groot," I hear her whisper. The movie ends shortly after and we start to head out. Beth has makeup smeared on her face and I decide it's time to make my move. I wipe the makeup off of her face and lean in for the kiss. She puts her finger up to my lips before I can. What the hell?

"What's wrong? Why don't you wanna kiss me?" I ask, trying to conceal my anger.

"I think we need to take things slow," she says. Slow? We just went on a date.
