(Idk what this one is really. It's about cops and cases XD Excuse me if some of the terms are wrong, I don't really know anything about cops or detectives like at all.. I just wanted to do something with it XD)

Dallon Weekes, commander, or deputy chief, was highly respected in his job. He worked well and he was very serious about his job.

He was always up for anything you threw at him, and he still cared about his colleagues all while being serious.

He was friends with almost everyone except one person in particular.

Detective Brendon Urie.

Now, Detective Urie wasn't disrespectful or rude, it was just the fact that he was highly respected like Dallon. Dallon would admit he was kind of selfish himself, but he wanted to be the best because he'd worked so hard to get to the position he's in now.

He didn't want some detective to come and take it from him.

It also didn't help that the detective was a pretty attractive person, he could most likely win anybody over with his charm.

Dallon wasn't going to fall for his stupid games though, he was better than that.

However, when the two were put on a case together Dallon almost lost it. Brendon usually didn't work with him only because he was usually busy with the other officers.

But today they were put on the same case.

"Alright, we need to head out to Mr. Turner's neighbors house to see if they know anything about it. If not, we can just report back to the house that the bodies were found in."

The case they were currently on involved a man named Samuel Turner. He's believed to be a suspect of murder, seeing as there were two bodies found in a basement and the last reported people to go in the basement were Mr. Turner and a few others.

Dallon just nods at the detective and they head out.

Brendon attempts to make small talk along the way but Dallon doesn't really respond. He hears Brendon sigh and when he looks at the detective, he's looking at his lap almost sadly.

Dallon just shakes his head and continues driving.

Once they arrive they silently walk up to the door and Dallon knocks, Brendon's stood a bit behind him.

A rather friendly looking man answers the door. Dallon speaks first.

"Good afternoon, sir. I'm commander Dallon Weekes and this is my colleague detective Urie. We simply want to ask you a few questions then we'll be on our way."

The man introduces himself as Adam Miller. He lets them in and Dallon takes a seat on the couch with him while Brendon looks around for more evidence or clues.

Dallon notices that Adam keeps glancing at Brendon and then at a door that seems to be in the hallway and he's not sure why. He brushes it off though and continues asking his questions.

He asks him questions revolving around the case and his relations to Mr. Turner. Brendon still looks around and he moves just out of Dallon's view. Dallon wouldn't admit it but he was a bit worried about the detective.

He keeps watching and listening to make sure he can still hear Brendon's footsteps as he talks to the man.

Adam still seems pretty friendly and he's answering all his questions so it's not really that bad.

Brendon finally walks back into the living room much to Dallon's relief and Dallon stands up.

"Alright sir, thank you for your time today. We'll be on our way."
