(The continuation of Your Dignity! Anyways I have nothin else to say so enjoy!)

Dallon was paralyzed.

He couldn't move, he couldn't think, he couldn't speak, he couldn't do anything.

He sees tears form in Brendon's eyes and he watches as they run down his cheeks. The poor detective looked scared to death, his whole body trembling and his breath ragged.

"So? Chop, chop, Weekes. My patience is running thin," Samuel almost groans out.

Dallon opens his mouth to speak but nothing comes out.

Brendon looks at Dallon with a pleading look but Dallon just can't do anything. He looks at his lap, his head hung.

"N-No.. D-Dall," Brendon whispers put, his voice small and weak.

"Pathetic. You might as well stop calling to him, clearly his pride means more than someone else's life, isn't that right Dallon?" Mr. Turner snarls out and he turns to smirk at Dallon.

Brendon lets out a whimper and he closes his eyes, tears still rolling down his cheeks.

"Cat got your tongue, Weekes?" Mr. Turner laughs and he presses the knife down a little more against Brendon's neck.

Dallon just shakes and he feels tears gather up in his own eyes.

He was supposed to be strong, he was supposed to protect people, not make them lose their lives because he can't do something as simple as speaking.

He was the well respected officer that supposedly knew how to get out of every situation no matter what it was. He wasn't supposed to be choking up on his own words seeing as his partners life is at stake.

If things went the way he wanted them to, they would've been out of this place already, and they'd both be alive.

If he had things his way, he would've woken up sooner and saved Brendon from being beaten up. He would've gotten them out of there before Mr. Turner and his gang had the chance to get back there.

If things had gone his way they wouldn't be in this situation at all.

But things didn't go his way, now did they?

Nope, they got screwed up somewhere and now here they were with the toughest cop tied to a chair, and the best detective on his knees begging for his life.

Things would have been so much simpler if they hadn't been paired up together or maybe it would've been better if Dallon actually talked to Brendon instead of ignoring him.

He remembers the detectives look when they were in the car, when Dallon had ignored him.

He looked so sad, honestly. All he was trying to do was lighten up the mood and at least maybe try and become friends with Dallon.

But Dallon screwed that up.

Instead of talking to Brendon he ignored him. He let his dignity get in the way of friendship and someone else's feelings.

Ever since Brendon had gotten the job Dallon almost envied him. It seemed as though every little thing the short, peppy man did was amazing. Everyone saw that too.
