"We have an African American female who looks to be in her early to Mid 20's unconscious but she is stable." Jay heard from above her. The person sounded like they were so far away but she knew where they were.

She tried opening her eyes but it was like they were glued shut. She tried to get up but it felt like she was being held down. She felt like crying but she couldn't she couldn't do anything. All she had was her thoughts.

Cameron got a call that her cousin was injured and needed to go to Wills Baptist Hospital immediately.

She jumped up and ran downstairs only in her boxers and a muscle tee, bu she didn't care. Jay was all she had left after her parents basically disowned her for being lesbian.

On her way too the hospital she seen Carson walking out of a 7-11 so she pulled over.

Hey ni- Carson started but Cam cut her off and urged her to get in the car. Carson got in cause the look on Cam's face worried her.

At the hospital*

Nisey slow down and tell me why we're here. Carson begged but Cam ignored her and walked to the front desk. She was still mad about the other night, and she always held a grudge.

Once Cam had her room number (235) she frantically searched for an elevator or stairs. Carson was getting pissed off at Cam for not telling her what was going on.

So she yelled...

Cam stopped and looked back at Carson. Jay is in the hospital. Cam said and kept walking. Carson stared at the back of her head in awe.

Her voice was so monotonous. It had no emotion or signs of Cam's usual personality so she knew this was important, but she wondered why Cam cared so much about Jay if they were just high school buddies?

The thoughts drifted out of her mind when she looked left and seen room 235. She contemplated on going to get Cam, but decided against it and knocked on the door.

An unfamiliar face opened the door and Carson smiled out of instinct. Hi my name is Carson and I'm here to see Jay. The girl looked her up and down in awe. 'I know exactly who you are.' The girl said not breaking her gaze from Carson.

Carson just stood there confused because she had never seen her in her life, and annoyed because she had yet to let her in the room to see Jay.

Just as the girl was about to let Carson in Cam came around the corner. Jordan where's Jay? The girl nodded towards the door and Cam walked in.

Apparently everybody knows everybody except me. Carson thought as she also walked into the room. As soon as she noticed Jay's wound her head started to hurt and her body got weak.

            Carson's pov/flashback
"Cmon loser your mom's waiting for us." I looked around and seen 2 little girls walking away from a park. I'm coming Jay'Len. Said one of them. The other girl laughed and tugged on her sleeve indicating she wanted her to go faster.

Cmon ugly or we're gonna be in trouble. The other girl laughed s'more bu still nodded her head yes. They were just walking and laughing when Jay'Len stopped. Her eye were glued to something.

The other girl followed her eyes and she seen a big dog running towards them. She grabbed Jay'Len's hand and started running back towards the park.

All of a sudden I heard one of them yell and Jay'Len was on the floor as the dog nawed at her leg. The other girl picked up a rock and hit the dog and it ran away.
End of flashback*
*Gasp*

Carson looked around and she wasn't in the park with the girls anymore. She was on the floor and doctors were surrounding her. I'm fine. She muttered out and they started to clear out.

Cam was looking at her with a worried expression that soon faded when she realized Carson was fine. Carson rolled her eyes as she got up off the floor, but Jay'Len popped up in her mind.

She looked at Jay who was now conscious and she was talking to Jordan. Jay has very similar features to Jay'Len. Like it was freaky, so without thinking Carson lifted the blankets covering Jay's leg, and she couldn't believe she had a bite mark exactly where Jay'Len had been bit.

"Yooo what are you doing?" Jay yelled at Carson. Carson looked at Jay with her mouth dropped completely ignoring her question.

Jay opened her mouth to say something, but Carson cut her off. Jay what's your real name? Jay looked at her and shook her head. "I'm not telling you."

A frown consumed Carson's face. She began to plead and beg over and over again until Jay said the words of pure bliss.

"ITS JAY'LEN OK?"
