Jazz stared down the barrel of the gun both shocked and terrified. Almost instantly, Richard, Lena’s right hand man, barged in.

“Ohh girl don’t kill her just yet!” He excitedly said as if she were about to start the beginning of a good movie.

“JUST GET OUT!!” Lena screamed, shaking her head with each word that escaped her lips.

“Girl, why you yellin? That aint good for your blood pressure and it damn sure aint gone get me to leave” Richard surprisingly asked.

“Just leave! I want to do this alone.” Lena said, still staring at Jazz with malice in her eyes.

“Ok, whatever girl. Imma make me a weed run. It looks like you need to calm your nerves before you do this.” Richard replied, grabbing his things and walking out.

As the door closed, Lena turned toward Jazz once again.

“Look Lee, I know I didn’t hold up my end of the bargain…” Jazz started.

“HA!” Lena sarcastically laughed unusually loud.

“…. But imma handle it though. I got her right where I want her. You just gotta trust me Panda Bear.” Jazz pleaded, her huge eyes moistening as she spoke.

The sincere look of desperation in Jazz’s eyes tugged at Lena’s heart. In one swift motion, she turned around and threw the gun at the wall behind her, causing it to go off.

“Why would you call me that?! You know how I feel about that name!” Lena screamed, pulling on her hair in the process.

“Babe calm down…” Jazz said, voice as smooth as silk.

“Calm?!” Lena shouted, “Calm?! How can I be calm? We had millions riding on this and you fucked it up. All you had to do was kill the mom, kill the daughter, report back to me, I was gonna tell the old man that it was done and we was gonna leave town two rich mother fuckers. I set it up, I gave my word. Now that old man askin me why his daughter is still alive and blah blah blah” Lena said waving her hand in the air. “’I thought you were going to do it, I thought it would be done by now’” she said in a whining, mocking tone.

“You don’t understand, she was starting to suspect something…” Jazz began before she was slapped across the face by an angry Lena.

“So you married her?!” Lena asked incredulously. Jazz hung her head, her dreads hanging in front of her face. “Look at me when I’m talking to you!” Lena sternly demanded. Jazz slowly looked up, eyes pleading with Lena as she slowly licked her lips.

“Gosh you’re still so fuckin sexy.” Lena purred. She stepped closer to Jazz and sat on her lap as she grabbed at Jazz’s face. “We can still have it all, you know. Let’s not fight like this.

Jazz couldn’t help but think that Lena was a little psychotic. This woman went through more mood swings than a pregnant woman. A light bulb of ideas went off in Jazz’s head as she realized that she could use this to her advantage.

“Baby we can. Just give me a chance to kill her. I promise it’ll be done tonight. It’s all a part of my plan.” Jazz sweetly said.

Lena looked deep into Jazz’s eyes in search of a lie and found none. “Plan?” she asked raising an eyebrow.

“Yea. The way I see it, the money is Christina’s right now. Her father only gets the 475 million if she dies. He was only going to give us 10 mil. If I kill her AND kill him, I get the money as the only living connection. I AM her wife, after all.

An evil smile crept upon Lena’s face. “THIS is why I fuckin love you Jazz!” she excitedly shouted.

“And I love you.” Jazz said, cringing on the inside. “Now let me out of these ropes so I can show you just how much I love you.” She seductively said, hungrily staring Lena down. Lena smiled as she lifted her dress to reveal a knife in her garter. She reached behind Jazz and cut loose the ropes that binded her arms then proceeded to do the same with her feet. When Jazz was free, she lifted Lena up, wrapping Lena’s legs around her waist. Jazz closed her eyes and Christina’s face appeared in her head. She passionately kissed Lena as if she were kissing her wife while walking her over to the table in the middle of the room. She gently placed her down. Lena softly moaned Jazz’s name as she placed the knife she held just above her head on the table. Jazz kissed and pleased Lena’s neck chest and stomach.

Lena’s hands moved down to Jazz’s pants as she grabbed at Jazz’s crotch. “Mmm baby… you didn’t…?”

Na I didn’t get it yet,” Jazz quickly said cutting Lena off. “I’m all here. Just how you like it.” Jazz grabbed Lena’s hands and pressed her body against Lena’s, kissing her neck. She moved her hands above Lena’s head and grabbed the knife. Lena moaned, eyes closed as Jazz kissed at her neck. In one swift motion, Jazz grabbed the knife and lunged it deep into Lena’s chest. Lena cried out in pain as her eyes suddenly opened. She stared Jazz deep in the eyes, the look of disappointment eminent on her face.

“Why??” Lena choked out, a single tear rolling down her cheek as she took her last breath.

“I’m sorry baby,” Jazz said passionately, “I love her more.” Jazz quickly got up and ran out of the room and into a dark parking lot in search of Lena’s car. What seemed like forever later, Jazz spotted Lena’s white Camero and hopped in, speeding off into the night.

15 minutes later, Richard returned to find his best friend dead on the table.

“Oh my gawd gurl!” he cried as he ran over to her. “Who did this to you?” He looked around the room and found no sign of Jazz. “I’m gonna get her babygirl… I promise” he said, closing her eyes with his fingers.

-----

Jazz barged into her house yelling Christina’s name hysterically. Christina quickly came running to her wife.

“Baby we have to leave. Pack your shit. Let’s go!” Jazz ordered.
