POV: Noble 6
I complied to the doctors and scientists wishes as they treated me, as well as answering the questions this woman had. She slightly blushed when she saw my face though I have no clue as to why. Through her questioning, I learned that this planet didn't know of the UNSC or Covenant. I was relatively suprised that humanity evolved separately on another world.
I heard a woman yelling at people to let her see someone, as did the woman whose name I learned is Winter. Fitting really. She does have snow white hair, beati-the fuck am I thinking?! At that moment, the white cloacked woman ran into the room and looked at me. Her hair was black with red highlights and her eyes were silver. Like mine...who is she? Why do I remember her smile?
POV: Summer
I looked at my son as he looked at me. His eyes were the same silver eyes I cherished almost two decades ago, but they had the look of grief and violence. His short messy hair was midnight black, just as it always had been. I started to tear up seeing my child infront of me as well as the fact that he's a child turned monster.
POV: Noble 6
The woman who started to cry ran up to me and hugged me. I was still too sore and weak to move much so I let it happen. "M-My baby boy." she whispered. That's when I realized why I remembered her. This woman...is-is my mother! With arms protesting in pain, I returned the hug.
The man who was with her when they came to my aid bursted into the room. His short hair was slicked back and had white highlights while his eyes were red. He smiled when he saw me. "You've surely grown."
I smiled. That must be my father. "Thanks."
My mom wiped her eyes and sniffled. "Where have you been all these years?"
"That's...a long story." I replied. The woman who tried to interogate me miserably failed left the room.
My dad sat on on the bed. "We got some time, plus Ruby would like to meet her brother."
"Dear Oum, RUBY!!" My mom shouted, then did something that defied the laws of physics.
"Did she just turn into rose petals?" I asked.
"Yea, it's her semblance, same with Rubys." My dad replied.
"Guess we both got a bit to learn."
My dad chuckled. "Seems like."
At that moment my mom came back in, along with a little girl that looked exactly like her. She looked up at mom, who gave her a nod, then back to me. The expression on her face went from confusion to pure joy in less then a second as she threw herself on me. "BIG BROTHER!!" I softly smiled and hugged her.
"Now, can you tell us where've you been?" mom asked.
"I believe it can wait until he's gotten some rest." I looked at the man who just came in and spoke. He looked a bit younger then my parents and had a black and green theme to his clothing. While he looked relatively young, something about the look in his eyes seemed ancient.
"Oh, of course Ozpin." mom replied, then gave me one last hug and kissed my cheek. "We'll be back to visit."
"Take care brother!" Ruby said happily as my family left the room with Ozpin. I laid back down and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep.
POV: Summer
I walked with Qrow and Ruby back to Ozpins office with him, a slight skip in my step. Qrow looked at me with a smile. "Someone seems excited."
"How can I not?" I replied. "Not only is Onyx alive and well, but he's here...he's home."
Ruby seemed like she was about to burst. "I can't wait to spend time with him! Do you think he likes weapons? How good do you think he'd be against a group of grimm?" Ruby kept asking a million questions at a surprisingly fast rate.
I laughed and hugged her. "Ruby, slow down. You can ask him all these questions when he gets enough rest, okay?"
Ruby nodded. "Okay!"
(Timeskip...don't like it? Good, cause I don't care.)
We watched Onyx walk out the hospital rooom. He towered over us, standing at least 6 ft. tall. Even through the armor one could tell he was well built, he gave a slight smile. "Glad to meet you all." he said.
I grabbed his hand. "Come on, let's go home." And so we did. I felt bad that he had to stoop down and to the side a bit to fit through the doorways but he seemed like he was otherwise comfortable.
"So, why don't you take off your armor?" Qrow asked.
"It takes five hours to get off without the proper machinery." Onyx replied.
Ruby was confused. "But then, how do you go to the bathroom?"
"Trust me, you don't want to know."
(Timeskip)
POV: Noble 6
I stood with my mother at a cliff, looking over the ocean. I looked at the tombstone infront of me, having my name and lifespan from when I was here. "Kinda hard fo believe I'm from here but, the proff's right here."
"It is." My mom replied. "But if you want we can get rid of it. You're here now."
"No, that Onyx died that day. I'm someone else, someone who probably doesn't deserve to live."
My mother looked at me with a shocked. "How can you say that?! After all these years we're finally reunited and you say that?!"
I looked at her, remembering my team. "You wouldn't understand." I walked off back to the house, leaving my mom at the cliff.
(Timeskip)
I was eating with my family as I listened to their stories until my mom suddenly remembered something. "Oh, yea! Ozpin said that you could join Beacon Onyx, you'll start off as a third year due to your combat skills."
Before I could even respond Ruby started to squeal. "Really?! I didn't get to see big brother in action! How good is he?!"
Dad chuckled. "Well we could barely keep up with him, and you know the condition he was in. Even before we jumped into the fight he couldn't be touched even with those wounds he had. Didn't even use his semblance."
"What do you mean by semblance?" I ask. My family looked at me with shocked expressions.
"It's an ability created by your aura." My mom said confusingly.
"What do you mean by aura? I have no clue what you all are talking about."
My family seemed flabbergasted that I didn't know what they were talking about. So, my mom unlocked my aura and it appeared as a silver color.
POV: Summer
I watched as Onyx looked at himself, a look of confusion as his aura swirled around him. "Your aura is powerful."
"Thanks." He replied. "I think it'll take a bit to get use too." Ruby laughed and Qrow chuckled. I smiled as he stood next to the table.
"Big brother?" Onyx looked at Ruby. "Why are you called Noble 6? I mean, it sounds cool and all but, what's the reason?"
Onyx looked away. "That's-that's something I prefer not to talk about." I knew why the moment he said it, and the look on Qrows face said the same. We finished our dinner and Onyx helped me with dishes before we headed to bed. I stayed up thinking about what he said. If that's the reason why he's closed off then...what happened to his team? What'll happen at Beacon when he gets a new one?
