1 year later—June 16, 2020

I woke up to someone shaking me lightly I opened my eyes seeing Chandra standing over me.
"Take this," Chandra handed me a pill and a glass of water.
I took the pill and the water.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
I scratched my head and let out a yawn.
"Gon and take your shower I'll be waiting on you to do your hair."
I stood up and stretched.
"How drunk was I last night Cha?"
"You was drunk drunk K."
"Did I do anything stupid?"
"I don't think you sending Aug nudes was stupid."
"Oh lord."
Chandra didn't say anything she just smirked I walked into the bathroom I turned on the light as soon as I saw myself in the mirror I let out a scream and walked right back out of the bathroom.
"Cha."
"Mhmm."
"How did I get hickies on my neck? Oh my god August is going to kill me if he see these."
"He's not goin to kill you."
"Cha I have hickies all over my neck I cheated on my soon to be husband oh my god I'm so horrible."
"Will you stop K Aug isn't going to kill you because Aug was the one that put the hickies on your neck."
"You and Mel wasn't supposed to let us see each other."
"Oh we tried but you two wasn't hearing that the only thing you two wanted was each other."
"Is Aug still here?"
"Nope Mel came and got him this morning."
"Alright."
"Go ahead and take your shower so I can slay you for this wedding."
"Alright I'm going."
I walked into the bathroom closed and locked the door. Since I have enough time before it's time for the ceremony I'm going to take a bubble bath then take a shower giving me enough time to relax and reflect on my life these past 27 years from the good to the bad and back to the good again.
Two hours later
I watched as my entire bridal party laughed, talked as they got ready my makeup was already done.
"Mama," A'Shanee spoke as she walked up to me.
"Yes baby."
"Are you going to have two rings?"
"Yes one is my engagement ring and the other is my wedding band."
"Oh will daddy have two rings?"
"No daddy will have just one and that's his wedding band."
"Why daddy don't have an engagement ring?"
"Because daddy proposed to mama, mama didn't propose to daddy."
"Oh."
"Go ahead and put on your shoes."
"Yes ma'am."
A'Shanee walked away.
"Are you nervous K," my mama asked as she walked up to me.
"No ma'am."
