JASPER LIKED TO BELIEVE HE WAS A PATIENT PERSON. He could sit in a waiting room for hours with no complaint, he could sit in LA traffic and not have anything negative to say. He could take weeks or years to prep for a spell. Hell, he'd been waiting on an answer to one question for over five hundred years. Overall, he was proud of his lack of eagerness.

But sitting in the passenger seat of a stolen car driving somewhere he didn't know, well, his patience was being put to the test.

His window was cracked and a soft breeze blew on his face. He reached up and loosened the tie around his neck mentally complaining. Katherine showed up at his penthouse, forced him into a suit, dragged him down the the presumably stolen car and hasn't said a word of what the destination may be. Irritation seeped through and he glanced over at the vampire in the drivers seat.

"Where are we going Katherine?" Jasper observed what she was wearing. A grey dress which was semi covered by Jaspers coat that she stole from his closet. Her hair was curled and pinned half up which is extremely unlike Katherine. Her hair was almost always down and tightly curled to perfection. The more Jasper studied Katherine the more he realised how she was dressed like wasn't Katherine at all. Wrapping his mind around it he let out a slight chuckle making Katherine snap her head over to him. "We're going to Mystic Falls aren't we?"

The grip Katherine had on the steering wheel tightened slightly giving away the answer. Jasper threw his head back against the head rest and groaned. "Why on Earth would you willingly go to the one place where almost everyone there has a reason to want you dead?" He took a deep breath. "You turned Stefan and Damon, faked your own death for over a hundred years, killed the pretty blonde and were the catalyst that killed Shelia," he paused, reining in his anger, "Why did I forgive you for that by the way?"

Katherine pursed her lips. "Because it wasn't my fault," She took one hand off the steering wheel and grabbed Jaspers hand making him look over at her. "If Damon didn't threaten the Bennetts to open the tomb or have Emily save those vampires in the first place Shelia would be alive."

Jasper stopped and thought over Katherines words. She was right in a way. Damon killed Shelia in a way, making her over exhaust her powers to her death. Jasper remembered the moment he felt her magic line sever. He was staying in a rental apartment in Italy when he collapsed to his knees and felt as if his heart was being ripped out. He stayed in the apartment for weeks drowning in sorrow till he packed up and went back to his penthouse in New York and began working at an art exhibit.

"She was like a daughter to me," Jasper started. "I raised her till I couldn't and now she's dead because Damon Salvatore was in love with you and if I'm correct, which I know I am, and we're going to Mystic Falls I'm going to kill him." Jasper nodded to himself them his eyebrows crinkled in thought. "He also killed me, so I should be able to return the favor."
