-Raven POV-
Beast Boy closed the doors to my room in a hurry after I asked about the West Wing. I felt like I should find out but I decided not to for now. Don't want to make him angry on the first day here.
Deciding that my emotions could use a check so I don't lose control, I hovered above the stone floor crossing my legs and took a deep breath.
“Azarath Metrion Zinthos.” I repeated muttering under my breath so my meditation would have a good effect.
After a good couple hours of that I stood up and decided to look around. Might as well get acquainted with my new home for a good part of my life.
-Cyborg POV-
As soon as we got home I went straight to my lab. Me and Robin both create our gear here during free time. But I didn't come here to fix anything or grab something for my car like usual. I was going to make something that can help us make sure that teen King will uphold his part of the bargain.
Robin walked in as I got done gathering parts and began carefully putting it together with the help of a microscope. “What are you building?” he asked going to his side of the lab.
“I'm worried about what that Beast guys gonna do to Raven without us there. So I'm making some hovering microscopic cameras so we can know what he's doing. Not sure how many test runs it'll take though. I'll make them solar powered with a good battery and not require much energy so that they can be used 24/7.”
“Good thinking Cyborg.” He said walking over. “Maybe I can add a little something to help conserve the energy and make sure they won't see it.”
I normally wouldn't accept help from Robin, but I wanted to get this done as fast as possible so I agreed. “One more thing.” I said before taking out a small paper bag with two green hairs. “We can automate the cameras to follow him around. I got his DNA.”
Robin smirked. “Let's do it.”
We worked together on the microscopic cameras for the rest of the day, but all the tests failed. We decided to continue the next day and told Starfire what we were doing. She also told us that some of the king's servants came to get all of Ravens books and bookshelf upon her request.
But even the brightest minds need sleep to function and I used quite a bit of my battery while working those tiny parts. So we both decided to work on it tomorrow only breaking for training, the save the day alarm, or meals.
