*clary pov*

Since my engagement everything went from demon hunting to golden wedding dresses. Izzy fussed over my wedding plans, my mom fussing right along with her. The only ones who weren't all fussy were the guys. Actually the guys minus magnus. He fussed a lot actually. Magnus had made my wedding dress in less than a week, and izzy and mom planned everything else. Before me and jace could even fully look over our plans, they had packed us and we're ready to portal to Idris.
"You guys know it's my wedding." I asked annoyed.
"Yes." Izzy said.
"Well you guys planned it all."
"Without us, you would have drawn runes on yourselves in a locked bedroom."
This was probably true, so I just dropped it. We finished packing and took everything to the front door. Magnus had the portal open and izzy was walking in it and coming back taking bags with her.
"ALEc, SIMON." She yelled. "GET YOUR ASSES IN HERE AND HELP ME."
Alec and Simon came running from behind us. The each took bags and and ran through the portal after izzy, leaving jace me and magnus to laugh. We took some extra bags, and stepped through the portal. We shimmered into the green grass of the Herondale manor. We watched izzy boss Simon, and Alec around the lawn. Ordering them to take bags into the house, or take them to Luke's truck. My mom and luke were inside, waiting for the bags to be loaded. Magnus came through with the last of the bags. Izzy didn't even say anything the just pointed him towards the truck. Magnus loaded them in the truck and looked to izzy. She gave a thumbs up and he shimmered away in blue fire. Izzy stormed over to me.
"Izzy don't you dare tell at us." Jace warned.
"I won't but clary come on, we need to go to Fairchild manor."
She started off to the truck and me and jace followed.
"Not you Mr. Your staying here."
"Why." Jace complained.
"Because it's bad luck if you see clary tomorrow morning."
Jace grumbled some things that I couldn't quite make out. But he stayed out when me and izzy started to the truck again. I hopped in the back and my mom smiled at me in the mirror.
I watched out the window, the trees flying by, and the occasional blur of color. The sun had started to set, giving the passing lake a orange tint. The Fairchild manor was farther than I remembered. When we tumbled out of the car, the sun had gone down fully and the moon was up. I took a few bags and set them down in the kitchen. I ran up the stairs and collapsed into my bed. I hadn't realized how tired I was. I drifted into sleep automatically.
