I kept running until I reached the middle of the meadow. Then I turned round. Faith was standing behind me panting and Will was calapeced on the ground. The spider thing hadn't followed out of the forest so we sat down, after running we still had time before we'd go home. "Should we tell anyone what we saw?" Asked Faith, insanity me and Will answered, I said yes but Will disagreed. "Think about it, no one knows we went into the forest nor does anyne else go there. No one's at risk and we just get into more trouble then it's worth." No one spoke. "Nothing going to happen if we don't say anything!" The silence wasn't appreciated, it sent a shiver out my body and out into the air. It calmed my nerves but that just lurnched a sickening feeling in to my stomach. I couldn't take it anymore, I almost though something would jump out on us, someone had to say something. "Your right!" Faith sighed. I lifted my head and opened my mouth to argue but she interrupted and ashued me that if the situation changed we would tell someone. Eventually I protestfuly agreed to end the erie silence that appeared between every sentence and we made our way back.
As we entered the town I could see the sun brushing the tips of the mountains in the distance, as it dipped towards the horizon. people were walking over to the factory on the other side of the town. Every one who was over 18 had to work in the factory if their family didn't have their own business, like a shop or farm, because there's nothing else to do: no other jobs and no one sells their shop or farm because they don't want them or their family to work in the factory.

So everyone was walking towards it. They were a swarm of buzzing white bees heading to the hive. Their pale white skin looked ghostly against their night black hair and the occasional head of the palest blond possible. They all had their faces covered with scarfs or masks the only thing you could see were their piercing yellow eyes.

Thick black smoke was rising out of the towering chimneys and hiding the sky from view. Then slowly and quietly we made our way home.

Tick.......tock!
