It was a rare day off during the summer when Jisung and Chenle decided they wanted to swim. They took that idea to Mark, and he immediately agreed before suggesting everyone goes, and they make it a day trip out for the group. The people who were in the room when Mark got told *cough Haechan due to him being latched onto Mark cough* nodded quickly before rushing to tell the others. He burst into Renjun and Hua's room, Chenle only staying with them for promotions he just likes hanging out with them. Jeno and Renjun were sat on Renjuns bed as they talked quietly whilst Hua napped with her head on Jeno's lap with his fingers tangled in it as he played with her hair subconsciously.
Haechan immediately lowered his voice so as to not disturb his sleeping friend, mentally awing at the sight, and walked to Jeno and Renjun. They nodded before Renjun got up carefully and got his and Jeno's swimming stuff together, tasking Jeno with waking up the sleeping girl. They didn't really like waking her up as if she had to nap, then she really needed the sleep, but this was for a good thing, so it was worth it. He stroked her hair again and quietly called her name. She stirred and woke up, moving to look up at Jeno, who eye-smiled down at her.
'Morning baby, did you have a nice nap?' She rubbed her eyes tiredly and nodded. Jeno held his hand to his heart, muttering a small 'so cute' before letting her sit up.
'We are going to the pool, would you like to go?' She perked up and nodded quickly and gave him a hug before ushering him out the room. 'Love you, Jeno, but I gotta get ready'
He chuckled and waited outside of the room just as Renjun walked to Jeno with his stuff in hand. Jeno took it from him. Hua got sorted and put her swimming costume underneath her clothes
She then opened the door and saw Renjun and Jeno waiting for her. She smiled at them and grabbed their hands, and ran to the living room where the others were, squealing slightly with happiness. Mark announced that they had grabbed towels and lifted a bag to prove it before a company minivan came to pick them up. Hua practically bounced down the stairs and ran to the car. The boys smiled and laughed at her antics before following. The journey was medium length, so they decided they would entertain themselves by doing some karaoke.
Once they arrived, Hua had calmed down slightly and put her hair up in a bun so it won't be as bad to clean when they got back home. They climbed in, and the company driver used a card for group expenses to let them into the pool. They went to their respective changing rooms, and Hua just took off the outer clothes and put them in a locker before getting a quick shower and heading to the pool. She saw an inflatable and smiled but decided to wait for the others before experiencing it. Pools are better when there is more than one person. Chenle and Jisung emerged out of the boys' area first. They took one look at the inflatable and smirked at each other before yelling out a quick 'Race Ya!'. They went to the inflatable, and a race began.
Hua moved to the pool, and the others finally came out of the changing rooms. They went to the pool to observe the male maknaes race, declaring Chenle the winner by a couple of seconds. Donghyuck climbed onto Marks' shoulders before declaring a chicken fight. Jeno summoned Hua, and she got onto his shoulders before looking at Doghyuck.'You're going down fullsun!' He only smirked in response. Renjun was the referee, and the match started.
Hua and Haechan began to fight, and it wasn't long before Hua was declared the winner as Donghyuck unceremoniously splashed into the water. The others cheered for her, and Jeno held his hand up for a high-five, to which she immediately complied.
They played other games like that for the rest of their time there, they all had a race with each other on the inflatable, to which Chenle was declared the overall winner, with Hua runner up and Jeno was the overall winner for the chicken fights.
Mark decided that it was time to go home when Hua began to start shivering, her lips turning slightly blue. They all climbed out and went to the changing rooms. Hua showered and cleared as much chlorine from her hair as she could before taking off her swimming costume and getting changed. She wrapped the towel around her head like a turban and stepped out. The boys were waiting for her, and they quickly dove into a group hug before they left the leisure centre and headed home.
When they arrived, Hua claimed first dibs for the shower and used what she needed to clean herself before drying herself and heading to the kitchen to get some food. The boys then took a shower one-by-one, and finally, they all went to the living room, where they began to watch movies until they fell asleep. Chenle and Jisung on the two-seater sofa, a blanket over the both of them and they were leaning against each other, Hyuck, Renjun and Hua were on the floor in front of them, Hua with her head in Renjun's lap and legs on Hyucks, a blanket on each of them and Renjun and Haechan with their heads together. Mark and Jeno were on separate armchairs, bought specifically for when the older members come to visit, blankets on them too.
