"I will repeat my question once more. Did you or did you not remove all evidence before playing your act and reporting the body to that wretched police force?"

The boy stood to the side of the open area inconspicuously, a burner phone pressed against his ear. He spoke in hushed tones that sounded deadly with little effort. After all, Lee Felix had a deep voice which could make most men cry if he played with it in a certain way.

The recipient gulped loudly before replying with a confirmation.

"Well that's good, isn't it? I have good news for you. You're not going to be the next corpse."

He hung up from the call without a second of hesitation, throwing it to the ground and firmly stamping it to shatters on the ground. Then, he deposited the most part of its remains in a nearby bin. Luckily for him, he knew he stood in exactly the perfect blindspot from all cameras, and to anyone watching the footage reel, he could have been throwing away anything. Keeping up his facade, he casually continued to walk with practised and skilful ease.

Had he been harsh? Perhaps. Did he care? A little.

The truth was, while Felix may have cared for the usual recipient to his wrath, it wasn't something he should continue. After all, he deserved better than to create meaningless ties with people who could eventually betray him; as his best friend, Seungmin, had constantly been persuading him.

He brushed his pink-tipped, brown hair back as he sighed. Allowing his facade to momentarily crack, he pressed two fingers against his neck feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. It was a habit of anxiousness; a dangerous one, for one might easily have recognised him for it, but nonetheless it was almost impossible to break out of. Mentally reprimanding himself, he lowered his arm, before attempting to reassure himself, This was nothing unusual, and soon, if he worked well on it, threatening a person over a burner phone would mean nothing.

In the meantime, he began to wander around the campus in search of a boy who would certainly be around at this time. He found the male in question scribbling doodles into a book under the tree, his dulling red hair contrasting to all around him, specifically his dark attire.

"Innie." It came out as a sing-song of brightness and happiness as he automatically smiled at the sight of a boy he saw and loved like a younger brother. Truth be told, Felix would do anything for the younger in the blink of an eye, no matter the request.

Yang Jeongin looked up from his aimless doodles, a natural grin on his face, showing his dimples and the faint shine on the plastic of his retainers.

"I did it." The younger was full of glee that filled his dark, sparkling eyes.

"I'm so proud of you." Felix cooed, settling himself beside the younger. If his assumptions were correct, Jeongin had managed to successfully unsettle the main officer in question, which was currently a vital part of their plan - not even a minute flaw was allowed. But then again, Yang Jeongin simply did not make mistakes.

"Things are only going to get more fun." They laughed together as the thought of what they were about to do from now on forwards filled their minds in anticipation. Revenge was always satisfying, and at this point, Felix was looking forward to bringing everything together. However, overall, the thrill of the kill was enough to send the adrenaline racing through his body, eliciting breathless smiles and glinting eyes of enlightenment.

"So, you shook the officer guy up."

"Yup. I'm going to mess with him a little, I think. He's insanely easy to manipulate. He wears his mind and emotions on his sleeve, almost literally."

"Our Innie read him well and dealt with him as such. I'm so proud of you." Felix praised as he ruffled the other's hair affectionately, ignoring the playful glare as the recipient attempted to dodge Felix's suffocating affection. "Just one word of advice, be careful to make sure he doesn't connect you and Seungminnie's stuff together."
