The next afternoon, we sit at lunch as I look through bag. After a long moment, Harry asks "What are you looking for?"
I sigh and toss my books back in my bag "I left my Transfiguration book in the dorm."
He picks up his sandwich and declares "I'll go with you." I stop him with a kiss and he furrows his brow when I pull away.
"I'll be back in twenty minutes." I tell him, before declaring "If I'm not back before the end of lunch, pack me a lunch, okay?"
He smiles, before pulling me down for another kiss.
As I walk out into the halls, I start for the Slytherin common room, only to find Pansy Parkinson, Vincent Crabbe, and Gregory Goyle, walking up the stairs.
A sneer comes over Pansy's face when she sees I'm alone. She looks to Crabbe and Goyle and smirks "Why don't we have a bit of fun?"
Adrenaline surges through me and I feel the railing behind me, before darting up the stairs.
Around the third flight, I trip and skid to get to the moving staircase.
As it starts to swing, I look back to find them at the bottom of the last one. Without a second thought, I leap onto the moving one and run up to keep going up.
At floor four, the twins stop me "What are you doing?" I look over the banister to find they're only one floor below.
"Those three..." I pant, before pushing past them "Help!" I scream over my shoulder.
On floor five, I stop to find the twins pushing the three arseholes back "Run, Draco! Run!" George screams.
I continue up and, when I'm on the sixth floor, I hear the twins following them up "Run like you're chasing a unicorn!" Fred orders.
At the seventh floor, I run into a group of Ravenclaws and move off the stairs to run around the halls.
As I turn at the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmey Teaching Ballet, a door opens up in front of me.
In awe, I stop and stare, until I hear footsteps. Instantly, I duck in and the door disappears.
After I catch my breath, I look around to find a large open room with columns that reach half way down. There's grading on the ground, and a beautiful fireplace on the back wall.
In front of it, is a big cozy armchair. When I go to take a seat to wait out the three stooges, a little table appears. A large mug sits on it.
When I take a sip of the perfect cup'a tea, I find a sleeve of biscuits next to where the mug was.
Then something hits me.

As I walk into the courtyard, I spot Harry, Ron, and Hermione, walking through it. In excitement, I run across the courtyard and scream "Pottah!"
He turns just in time for me to push us both back into the snow. As he realizes what happened, I ball laughing.
When he laughs, I tell him "I found a place." He gives a confused look and I tell him "A place to do that thing."
He cocks his eyebrows "That thing that we haven't done in a month, or that thing that we talked about in Hog's Head?"
"Hog's Head." I state and he gives a happy smile "I found it when I was running from the three stooges."
He furrows his brow and I continue "The twins slowed them down, and I found this place on the seventh floor."
He kisses me passionately and I hum, before holding onto him. As I continue to kiss him, Ron asks "Should we go, or...?"
Harry waves them off and we lay in the snow, snogging.

A few weeks later, Harry stands next to me and declares "You can do it, Draco. I believe in you."
I hold my wand in front of me and whip it "Expecto Patronum!" When nothing happens, he runs my back, gently.
He rests his head on my shoulder and sighs "It's okay. Nobody else has got it, yet."
I give him a weak smile, before reminding "I don't have any strong happy memories."
He furrows his brow, before insisting "You just haven't tapped into it yet. You'll get it."
Before I can respond, he turns to everyone "Alright, everyone! We probably won't get another lesson before the holidays! So, have a great holiday, keep practicing, and great work!"
I sigh, before holstering my wand and walking over to my bag as people file out of the Room of Requirement.
As I pick up my bag, my eyes lock with the photo of Viktor on the mirror. As I sit my bag down, and Harry asks "When was the last time that you saw him?" When I look to him, he states "Hermione told me."
I give an unphased look, before looking back to the mirror "When I walked in here." I shrug "For some reason, he's not aloud in here."
Harry shrugs, before asking "How does it make you feel? When you see him like that?"
I give a tired hum, as tears come to my eyes "It kills me to see him like that." He rubs my back, softly, before I continue "And the fact that he's here for me... it makes me hate myself for it."
"Why?" He asks and I shrug.
I take a moment, before explaining "He's here to help me through whatever change I have coming. He's not at rest, because of me... and a part of me is just so joyous to have him here."
He gives a weak smile as a tear slides down my cheek. After a long moment, he hugs me to him.
When he looks up to me, his eyes focus on something above me and I look up to find a mistletoe. He thinks for a moment, before declaring "This was probably the twin's doing."
I hum, before kissing him.

As I walk into my dorm, Oliver and Blaise look up from their books and look at me in confusion.
Blaise looks me over, curiously, before asking "How'd you cut up your arms, exactly?"
As I drop dittany on the broken skin of my fingers, forearms, and elbows, I tell them "I just bottomed for the first time in about a year. You should see my knees."
Oliver gives a confused scoff "How'd you cut up your arms?" As I roll up my pants, I explain.
"You know the grated floors in the Room of Requirement?" They nod and I do the same as I drop dittany oil on my knees "It's not the best surface to get busy on."
