-Diane's P.O.V-
"O. M. G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I squealed, "I'M SO IN!!!!!!! When and where?"
"The new pizzeria downtown at 7:00pm on Friday." Ban responded brightly.
"Do you want to ask Elizabeth if she can make it?" King asked me, warily.
"Sure!" With that I was gone, running to Elizabeth. "ELLIE!!!! WHERE ARE YOU??!!" I shouted. A voice about five feet away responded. It was Elizabeth.
"Geez Diane!" Elizabeth giggled, " I'm right here! "
" Oh hey Ellie! I didn't realize you were there! " I exclaimed. "Anyways, I wanted to ask you a question on the way to class."
" Okay, but first we have to show Guila and Jericho where to go for their next class. You can tell me after! " she promised.
"Okay!" I said brightly. We showed Guila and Jericho to their next class, which was art. after we had left them to go to PE, Elizabeth looked at me expectantly. "So?!" she exclaimed, "Stop keeping me in suspense!!" I giggled.
" Are you still dating Arthur Pendragon? " I asked casually. She shook her head. I sighed in relief.
"Why?" Elizabeth inquired.
"No reason. But, have you ever gone on a blind date?" She shook her head again. "Good," I sighed. " I have someone in mind for you. " By now we had gotten to the gym and were changing into our gym clothes, which were shorts and a shirt, as well as a pair of sneakers, because we were running the mile today.
Ellie and I walked out onto the track, where Mr. Ludociel, our PE teacher and the basketball coach, was waiting. He blew into the bright yellow that was tied around his neck. "Stretch for a few minutes and then start running the mile! You have until the end of class. After you're done, you have free time." We nodded and started stretching. After about a couple minutes we started jogging at an even pace. "Okay," Elizabeth puffed, "TELL ME!!!" I giggled at her frustration.
"Okay, okay! Are you free on Friday at 7:00pm?" I responded breathlessly.
"Yeah... why?" she answered.
"Good! Go to the new pizzeria downtown at 7:00pm on Friday, and wear something nice!" Elizabeth looked at me with confusion in her eyes, but she nodded. Maybe we did have at getting these two together. All we could do now was hope everything would go well.
