The Blind Date (A Melizabeth Story) - UNDER EDITING

~Chapter 8~

-Elizabeth's P.O.V-

The week flew by in a blur, and before I knew it, it was time to get ready for my blind date! I was really excited, but I was also super nervous! I called Diane and Elaine and asked them to come over. They said they would be here in five minutes. I was pacing around my room when they burst in. "OMG!!!!!! I'm so excited that you're going on a date!!" Diane exclaimed, making Elaine giggled and me blush. They looked over to my bed, where I had neatly arranged three outfits.

The first one was a light yellow dress, a blue jean jacket, and light blue slippers. The second outfit was a grey ombre shirt, grey jeans with a few holes, a pair of white converse, and a grey chocker. The last outfit was a navy skirt, a brown belt, a pink blouse with a bunch of ruffles, pink slippers, and a navy tie looking thing. 

"Definitely the third outfit!" Diane shouted, "It screams cute but casual! Plus, I think it'll suit you!"

"Yeah! I agree!!" Elaine said.

"Okay! I'll get dressed in a sec!" I grabbed the outfit and walked over to the bathroom and turned on the hot water. I spent a good five minutes in the shower, washing my hair. I turned to shower off, grabbed a towel and stepped out of the shower and into the freezing bathroom. I dried myself quickly and put on my outfit for date night. I dried my hair and brushed my teeth really fast. 

I walked back into my room, where Diane and Elaine were waiting. I sat down at my desk and started messing with my hair and makeup, and Diane and Elaine came over to help out. Eventually, we decided to leave my silvery hair down, and I brushed through it quickly. Elaine worked on my eyeliner and mascara, while Diane did my blush and bronzer. (A/N: I don't know a lot about makeup, so please correct me if I'm wrong about Ellie's makeup.)

I finished getting ready quickly, with the help of the girls. Finally, I put a single blue earring in my right ear that had a moon and a bunch of stars on it. I had gotten it from my sister, Margret, for my 12th birthday. I was out the door by 6:50pm. I ran to my silver BMW and jumped in. I sent a quick 'thank you' text to Diane and Elaine, who had already left to go the movies together. I put my key into the ignition and buckled up. I started my car and started driving.

-Meliodas' P.O.V-

After my usual Friday homework and laying in bed for an hour, just staring at the wall, I jumped into the shower to start getting ready for my date in half an hour. After I had gotten out of the shower, I got dressed in my favorite faded black jeans with a few holes, a black shirt with a bunch of animals and symbols and stuff, and a pair of black converse. I checked my phone really quick that both Ban and King had sent me a text to remember about my date. I rolled my eyes as I responded.

theundeadguy: bro! dont forget about your date!!

KingofStuff: Yeah, don't forget to get there at 7!

Mel: You guys have SO much faith in me...

theundeadguy: well... you don't exactly have the best memory...

Mel: You're one to talk.

theundeadguy: touche

KingofStuff: LMAO!!

I smiled at my phone, and then looked at the time. It said 6:50pm, so I realized that I should probably get going. I walked out to my car, and jumped in. I drove to the pizzeria in five minutes, and then sat down at a booth. Ban had told us to go to the second booth on the right, if possible, which was where I was sitting. Before I knew it, a silverette girl walked in and stared straight at me.

-Elizabeth's P.O.V-

It took me a while to find a parking spot, so I walked into the pizzeria at exactly 7:00pm. I scanned the room for the second booth on the right, but I froze when I saw who was sitting there. In the booth, a short blond boy with green eyes and a charming smile looked up. He looked like he was waiting for someone. 

I could recognize him anywhere. Ban, King, and Diane had set me up on a blind date with non other than Meliodas.
