Hazy with love,
her golden jewelry and honeycomb curls
allure the boys to the sea.
They notice her starlit freckles,
like constellations in the sky,
and honeycomb curls reflecting
off the crystal clear seas.
She bubbles with delight
and her charm glows,
making the boys swim towards her.
She places chains
around their necks and ankles,
like the jewelry she wears.
They have fallen in love with only an imagination.
Before time,
they will become drenched in blood
by the time moonlight arrives.
