You were lucky to have escaped from the clutches of Joker's henchmen since he was plotting to take over Arkham Island bit by bit after supposedly turning himself in and using the toxin gas to kill off a few of the Arkham guards. You ran towards an old building for safety as you had previously seen dead guards littered on the floor,their faces slightly green and covered in blood from injuries.

As you looked around,you felt like you were being watched from the shadows by an unknown villain,plants crawling up the sides of the building before attaching themselves to your limbs,holding you in place and still.
"So you are finally here (Y/N)...what a pleasant surprise to see." Poison Ivy spoke,stepping out of the shadows dripping with blood as she pet one of her beloved plants which crawled alongside her....causing you to shiver. "Why is everyone around me dying?" You asked,voice shaking due to the complete carnage you'd just witnessed. The plant woman smirked evilly, cupping your flustered cheeks in her cold green hands. "They were...in the way of me trying to claim your love and affection,so I did the right thing and got rid of competition...my babies here did a good job with the additional help." Poison Ivy replied as she bloomed a pink flower and handing it over to you. Not wanting to be in any danger,you shook your head rapidly. "N-no...I don't want your love and affection, you'll only be hurting more innocent people...friends,family,and me." You shouted in a blind panic which angered the plant woman as she crushed the dainty flower in her hands as she summoned more vines to hold you in place,her anger growing. "I'm afraid I cannot let you go sugar,if I did then you'd rat me out to those filthy brutes and land me back in Arkham Asylum." She spoke through gritted teeth as the many vines tightened around you,nearly choking you to death. "I-I hate you....y-you monster." You choked as the plant woman laughed lowly,watching you slip into unconsciousness from being light headed.
