You walked through the streets of Gotham,heavy rain drenching your shivering form as thunder lightened the stormy skys. Stopping at a cafe,you opened the door to grab a coffee but,instead of that, you gasped in terror at the sight of mangled bodies littering the establishment,blood stains on the walls, saliva all over the table tops and one of the diner patrons were ripped in half,their innards littered the floor,the blood staining your high heel boots. "What kind of monstrous creature would do such a despicable thing?" You said to yourself,not aware of the large inhuman figure behind you. You turned around, only to let out a horrifying scream as the infamous Man-Bat hunched over you,screeching into the sky.Thinking fast,you dodged Man-Bat's wing and ran out into the streets,the rain heavier than before as the human bat went after you,screeching loudly at the top of its lungs. Luckily,Batman was trying to solve the case and he rushed to help you. "What seems to be the problem?" He asked urgently,ensuring you were okay. "A-a human b-bat creature has k-killed some diners and I-is after me!" You blubbered in a panicky tone,waving and flailing your arms in the air. "Get in the batmobile,I'll keep you safe." Batman replied and allowed you to sit inside the batmobile as he drove down the streets. Man-Bat watched from a nearby building as the dark knight had you with him,the human bat hissed lowly and began to follow the two of you throughout Gotham city,lightning flashed in the sky.

After a while,the rain had finally come to a stop but the thunder and lightning continued to flash in the Gotham sky. You and Batman were standing near an old lab that you recognised straight away. "Doctor Langstrom used to work here before he ended becoming Man-Bat." The Dark Knight spoke sternly whilst you were in shock,remembering that you and Kirk Langstrom used to be childhood sweethearts and co-workers and you hadn't seen him for nearly 9 years. "There has to be a way to cure him." You responded but Man-Bat showed up,screeching at the both of you which caused you to cry. "Don't do this to me Kirk...I know you have a heart!" You wailed which succeeded in stopping the human bat Doctor from roaring as he looked at you but growled at Batman. Man-Bat let out another loud screech and grabbed you before flying away,causing you to cry.

You were stuck on the top of a skyscraper, Man-Bat had turned back into Doctor Kirk Langstrom,and he grinned at you whilst you were disgusted by his horrific actions at the diner. "Now you know why I do these disturbing things (Y/N)." Kirk said in a whisper which caused you to shudder, "Well why you hurt those people,they're all innocent civilians and you killed them!" You shouted at Kirk as he simply chuckled. "I've grown more fond of you after our reunion a few months ago when I was in my Man-Bat form...I do this for you." He replied as he attempted to hug you but you shoved him away,looking over the edge of the skyscraper at the streets below,noticing Batman using his weaponry to reach and rescue you. "Batman I'm up here!" You hollered which angered Kirk,he grabbed ahold of you in a fury look. "Only I can keep you (Y/N), you're mine!" He hissed Before feeling himself transforming into Man-Bat once again...roaring into the sky as he grabbed you and flew away.
