The obnoxious sound of crunching leaves spread through the cool autumn air, forcing Terrence to quickly pivot and conceal himself behind the house’s corner. Stealthily, he slowed his breathing and peeked around the corner. Terrence wondered who would be in the vicinity at 10 o’ clock, as of right now, this was his territory. His question answered when he made out the burly physique and old-fashioned haircut of the high school’s prominent quarterback.

…Knox?!

Groaning internally, Terrence lowered his head in annoyance.

You cannot be serious. He’s bothering her more than I am! This hypocrite! How dare he tell me what is wrong and right, when he can do whatever he wants while not even considering her feelings! Did we have the same idea? Of all nights, why this one?

Alex began to throw pebbles at the window but kept missing horribly, chipping and scratching some of the brick building. Not impressed, Terrence witnessed the fails.

The fuck..? Is he really the quarterback that led us to 3 championships?

He leaned against the house, gazing up at the full gray orb floating in the sky. To come all the way out here was a big deal… Was he actually going to go through with this? Hearing Alex pester the girl he loved made his blood boil. Just as Terrence turned the corner ready to knock some sense into Knox, he heard the window slam shut and caught the delicious sight of the football star walking away in misery. The grin on Terrence’s face was not but of humor, but of dark notions. Chuckling, he began scaling the tree that guarded the gateway to his treasure.

Elaine, frozen in shock, lay petrified on her bed. Breaking out in a cold sweat, her mind escalated to a panic-stricken state. She stared straight at the shady outline, eyes unable to look anywhere else. The figure also seemed to not have the ability to look anywhere but in her direction. In these drawn-out seconds of realization, she got up, opening her mouth to let out a scream.  But before any sound could escape the frail girl, a calloused hand enveloped around her lips and another gripping her hands behind her. She attempted to shake her head free but it was no use. Her captor was too strong. A thick fabric was tied, stealing her vision, only to lead to the mysterious trespasser crawling over her, pinning her small frame down. With Elaine’s face up and hands above her head, the girl’s mouth was released and she gasped for air.

Everything’s happening too quickly..! Even though I cannot see I know this is no friendly person. I have to get out of this!

“HEEEEEEEEEE—“, she tried to yell for help, but was quieted by a pair of rough, manly lips crushing against hers. Instantly she blushed furiously, for this was not like any kiss she’d had before. She could almost feel the desire put into this kiss, almost feel the want. Snapping back to the desperate situation, Elaine began to thrash around and the shadow broke the forced kiss.

“Now, now, it’s useless to struggle…” the intruder spoke lowly, licking his lips.

That voice! It’s so familiar… I can’t quite put my finger on it…

“…Terrence?” she asked, raspy and shaken.

“So you remember me? You remember the boy whose heart you destroyed without difficulty?” Terrence lowered his head even closer to Elaine, barely her ragged breath acting as a medium between their mouths once again. “I want to know your true feelings, those that are scarcely there, hidden inside… Here,” his fingers trailed down to that place which was beating so rapidly. Because she was still blind-folded, her other senses were heightened considerably, making this experience particularly unbearable.

“I don’t… Know what you are talking about…” she mumbled in between her quick breaths, as if she wanted to disappear into thin air.

Though she couldn’t see this miracle, a deep blush formed on Terrence’s chiseled face and he retreated a little.

She’s so… Damn cute! That was the single most adorable expression I could ever witness. Her lips pouting, cheeks red… And that voice! If I could have seen her eyes, I know most definitely that I would of lost control. Ah, I’m breaking character once again...

“Elaine, I know that you know what I’m talking about,” his words gentle and comforting, but with a forceful undertone. “It doesn’t help to act coy around a wolf like me. Those confessions I gave to you at school contained nothing but my honest intentions and emotions. However… Now that I’ve told you all about my love for you, it’s time for a little response, don’t you agree?”  His manner transformed from serious to an obscure mischievousness.

Just when she was about to respond negatively, Terrence quickly countered it. “Don’t say no. Not once have you failed to let me down. Not only me, but everyone who has ever asked to be let into that exclusive, locked side of Elaine Styman.” He leaned towards the shamed girl, this occasion closing in on her neck. His breath tickling her fair skin, Terrence murmured, “Although I should be the only one to ever venture there…” Right away he began to suck on her neckline to which Elaine responded with a sharp gasp.

“Terrence, stop..!” she cried whilst panting hard.

“That doesn’t sound so convincing, love. Keep your voice down… Someone will hear you…” he instructed in that deep, overpowering voice of his. Continuing to tease her, Terrence pulled out his trump card, uttering the inviting words Elaine so desired to hear:

I want you.”

Everything in the universe seemed to pause. Elaine was breaking, on the near verge of breaking, of unleashing everything hidden inside the safe of her heart. All because of those so very infectious words declared by an extremely enticing boy. Slightly shaking, she began to speak, barely whispering…

Sure enough, the thumps of footsteps disturbed the passionate ambiance, snapping the pair back into reality.

“Well then. I suppose it is time for me to go,” the devilish boy spoke with a grin. “One more thing.  Think about this night… Keep it in your memory, forever and always. Contemplate your delicious reactions to my provoking actions and behavior.”

With that Terrence freed her of her restraints, giving her sight once more. But the only glimpse Elaine spotted of her prowler was a muscular frame with short black hair, leaping out the window.

The door opened at last, after what seemed like an eternity to the dazed teenage girl sitting awkwardly on the bed.

“Everything alright?” It was her dear father.

“Y-yeah… I just had a crazy dream… More like a nightmare.”
