Chapter 13

Ashton's POV

Calum and I were sitting on the couch, he was on his phone while I was on my laptop. The front door was opened which made both of us look into the hallway, waiting to see who had gotten home.

"We're back!" Mia's voice was heard from across the hallway as she walked towards us, another pair of footsteps following her were also heard. "Hi Mia! where did you guys go?" Calum asked her as she made her way into the living room, Luke walking behind her. Both of them said hi to us , and Mia said "Effy and I went shopping and Luke joined us for lunch. What about you? How was your day?"  "Fine, we were just being lazy." Mia chuckled and rolled her eyes at us and after that she walked to the kitchen.

I wanted to know about what happened today with Effy and I know that I sound like a stalker right now, but I couldn't care less. So, I followed her and walked inside the kitchen, casually opening the fridge trying not to look suspicious at all until I finally said "So... how was shopping?"  She looked over at me and answered "It was really fun, Effy's really cool." I just nodded and after a small silence asked her "Does that mean you're hanging out with her more often?", she looked at me with a suspicious look and smirked "I guess so. Why'd you ask?" "Just because.." I answered looking away "Sure, Just because..." she  said as she grabbed an apple and walked out of the kitchen.

I stood there for a few minutes , motionless. Then, I realized that this was the first time that I was ACTUALLY trying hard to get her. I mean it's not like I'm a douchebag to girls or treat them wrong, I find that really low, but I never go further than hookups since I find relationships pointless. But since Effy,  now I  realize that I had found them pointless.

It was wednesday, and the boys and I had to go finish some songs for our first album. We had been there for about 3 hours, and it was getting pretty boring since Calum had been recording for about thirty minutes and we were just sitting there, waiting for him to finish so we could finish up a few more songs and leave, Luke was curled up in a ball asleep and Michael was in a cranky mood since he was hungry. I was bored as fuck to say the least, when I felt my phone vibrate and the screen light up.

HEY. I MEAN HEY. Sorry, autocorrect...

I chuckled to myself and replied.

From: Ashton

HAAAAAAAAAY!

It was autocorrected! 

From: Ashton

I'm kidding! so, what have you been up to?

From: Effy

Nothing much; Netflix, sleeping, the usual.

From: Ashton

LUCKY! I've been stuck 3 hours in the studio doing nothing. Boooring!

From: Effy

Well, sucks to be you. Jk.

From: Ashton

Yeah, fuck you too. Anyway, what are you doing later? besides watching netflix and sleeping.
