{Shanes Pov}
*Shanes dad isn't a jerk in this FanFiction*
My mom and I sat on a bench in a crowded airport for two hours. We (my mom) are excited to hear about how much of a suck up my dad is to his boss for going to Oklahoma for the meeting. Whatever.
Shane: God dammit!
Shanes mom: Shane lee!
Shane: Sorry, my phone just died. I swear It runs out of battery way too easily.
Shanes mom: Well, if you weren't on it 24/7 it wouldn't be such a big deal.
I saw the airplane landed, and rushed to the gate. I was excited for my dad to be home, because I hadn't seen him in 2 weeks, and he's basically my bestfriend since everyone at my school pretty much either bullies me or ignores me. And since my bestfriend had moved away. Joey.
Joey.
Wait, Joey?
JOEY!
{Joeys Pov}
My airplane landed. Crap. Their was a good side and a bad side about me coming back home.
The good side: I was back home! Straight camp was h*ll on earth! And I was even gayer than ever. Mostly evade I ended up sleeping with the cabin counselor, who was a mediocrely attractive dude. And maybe I'll seen Shane again. My bestfriend. If he hasn't killed himself yet, honestly. He had sent letters to me ( Phones were not allowed) for a while, until his depression got so bad that he stopped. God, I'd hate myself if he killed himself cause I wasn't there to stop him. I'd hate my dad even more.
The bad side: I'm still not straight. Which isn't necessarily bad besides my dad will still hate me. One time he tried beating the gay out of me. He promised he wouldn't do it again, but I have a feeling he's lying.
I grabbed my luggage and pretty much ran off the plane. I saw a middle aged man, who's face looked pretty familiar. He was in a buisness suit. Maybe he was one of my dad's friends or something. Oh well. I ran down the little hallway that connected the plane to the airport. I couldn't wait I see my mom, but more importantly see if Shane had stuck around. I couldn't stop Thinking about those green-blue eyes. That reddish hair. The way he walks. How many jokes he made. Oh, Shane. Oh Shane. Shane? SHANE?!
{Shanes Pov}
I looked directly in his blue-green eyes, and he stared completely back. His mouth dropped open.
Joey: SHANE!!!
He ran, leaving his luggage at the gate and jumping into my arms. We stayed like that, me holding him. He started to cry.
Joey: I missed you so much.
Shane: That is very homosexual of you to say.
That was an inside joke of Joey and mine. He looked at me and laughed, wiping a tear from his cheek. I was almost tempted to kiss him, but I didn't. I let him down, letting him grab his bags. I didn't even notice my dad looking at us.
Shanes dad: Hey buddy! Joey?
My dad said, patting my back and looking at Joey. Joey nodded quickly and let out a cheeky smile.
Shanes dad: Joey! It's great to see you! How was Africa?
Africa. That's what Joeys dad told everyone he went to for 3 years. A missionary trip.
Joey: Oh no. I'm gay. My dad sent me to a straight camp, but it didn't work.
My dad was basically family with Joey. He nodded. Joey was pretty brave to say it like that, but my dad is pretty surprisingly chill with that kind of thing.
Shanes dad: Well do we have some catching up to do! Why don't you come to dinner? Is your mom here?
Joey: I was gonna take a cab, but dinner sounds great!
I looked at Joey. He was even more muscular than I remember. He was 14 when I last saw him. Now he's 18. And even more attractive. Like, d*mn. As my parents walked in front of us, leading the way, I grabbed his hand in mine.
Joey: That is very homosexual of you.
I laughed.
Shane: And by the way, I missed you too.
