It had been a month since their last encounter and Coden was beginning to grow impatient. When would he see the woman who had captured his thoughts and invaded his dreams?

Whenever he was out (which happened to be the majority of the time because he didn't want to miss the opportunity to see her) he made sure to keep an eye out for the dark haired beauty.

"Baby, let's go." A red nailed arm pulled at his own as his eyes wandered around his surroundings in hopes of catching his girl.

Sighing he let the woman he was out with for the night pull him along into the café that confined him with warmth.

The soft ring of the door and the smell of pastries as well as eggs and bacon hit him. It smelled wonderful and gave the feeling of comfort. He always enjoyed café's like these due to the fact of the 'at home feeling' they gave him. The café was completely silent with the exception of the soft jukebox playing old eighties songs and the chatter of the elderly couple at the far corner giggling like teenagers. He smiled at the sight. He wanted a love like that. The one that lasts forever; the one that makes him want to grow old with the love of his life and be able to laugh like the two.

"I don't get why we have to go to these places. They're so boring." The woman beside him ranted.

He sighed. He seemed to being doing that a lot lately. "Let's just go sit down." His deep voice resonated in the sound of nothingness.

"Whatever. They better sell Caesar salads here."

Coden mentally rolled his eyes at her behavior.

She wouldn't have said that. She probably would have smiled and grabbed his hand, pulling him along to the farthest corner of the café. She would have probably ordered a burger. She would have laughed along with him. She would have been with him.

Coden almost slapped himself for the thoughts running through his head. He shouldn't make assumptions about a woman he didn't even know, let alone may never see again. He needed to move on.

Staring outside he watched the many passerby's cross past them in a hurry to get to their destination but none resembled the dark haired girl. None of them were she. Letting his eyes stay on the life outside of the window he let his date continue talking about herself.

He didn't know why he took her out. She was a woman his mother wanted him to date, which he had done for a while but couldn't seem to even find the slightest bit of interest within her. All she seemed to do was talk about herself. She was beautiful to say the least with her strawberry blonde hair that he found extremely dead and her pretty clear blue eyes he found lifeless. She was the complete opposite of his brown-eyed beauty.

Staring in the distance his eyes caught something moving in the library across the street and unable to resist he immediately got up.

"So - Hey where are you going?" His date yelled after him as he quickly shrugged on his coat and almost ran out of the café. He ran to the building much to the dismay of the many taxi cab drivers and the many other cars that almost ran into him. Not even bothering to reply with a sorry he continued his run into the library.

Opening the heavy door he was welcomed with the smell of books and many university students quietly chatting about their upcoming exams. His eyes searched until they zeroed in on the back of dark haired bun that was bobbing up and down with every move the owner made. He hesitantly took long strides towards the girl until he was right behind her.

He shook his head. This was by far the craziest thing he had ever done for a girl in his entire life, let alone someone he doesn't even know.

"There's no harm in looking." He encouraged himself as he lightly tapped her shoulder.
