ur love is questioned, such a mournful sound
Tonight I'm gonna bury that horse in the ground
So I like to keep my issues drawn
But it's always darkest before the dawn
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh whoa
And I am done with my graceless heart
So tonight I'm gonna cut it out and then restart
'Cause I like to keep my issues drawn
It's always darkest before the dawn
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh whoa
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
And given half the chance would I take any of it back
It's a fine romance but it's left me so undone
It's always darkest before the dawn
Oh whoa, oh whoa...
And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope
It's a shot in the dark aimed right at my throat
'Cause looking for heaven, found the devil in me
Looking for heaven, found the devil in me
Well what the hell I'm gonna let it happen to me, yeah
Shake it off - Flornece and the machine
Kara looked up at me with her big eyes. She smiled and let out a giggle. I smiled back.
If only she knew how much stress she was putting me under with her being sick. Like the doctor said, a week after being in hospital she was finally allowed to come home, to her new home, my house.
I had a social worker coming over today, then I had to pick up some of her things from Chloe's mums house and then go mother care to get her some new things, and then, I was going to see my uncle, so I had to come home and pick up Katy and Kelsey as my mum had work today.
I picked her up carefully and put her in the crib that was in the living room, Kara wasn't as active as before, the doctor had prescribed her acetaminophen, which was a bit too strong for a 11 month baby so I was told to keep a close eye on her.
"So how are things at home Omarion ?" My whole family where lined up on the sofa with the fakest smiles ever. I warned all my sister if they f_cked this up I would make there live hell.
"It's good." I nodded.
"How do you think you will manage your football, college and a young child ?" Tense.
"Erm, I only go part time to college and my football is Wednesday evenings and weekends, but its not football season now, so I can afford to miss some pracistes. And erm, in fact my mum doesn't work on those days, right mum ?" I delfected the question to my mum, I could hear myself waffling.
