"We're not supposed to go into the woods by ourselves, Henry," Kalliope hissed. "Dad said it's not allowed."
"He'll never catch us," Henry said, turning to face his sister. "Nobody ever comes out here anyway."
"What if there are fairies in the woods? Do you think they'll steal us away?" Kalliope asked nervously.
Henry rolled his eyes. "There's nothing in these woods but us, Kalls."
"I'm here, too." Henry spun on his heel, his wide eyes looking up at the tall demon before him. The creature placed his hands upon his hips, his eyes shining green as he grinned wickedly. "There's a reason you kids aren't allowed in these woods."
