"Where did you get that vase?" Johnny asked pointing at the dented, silver object in Sigurd's hands.
"I found it in the safe," Sigurd said, holding it up slightly to show it off as he grinned.
Johnny propped his hands on his hips. "That's the Basano Vase. If that gets into circulation in the general populous people could die, Sig. That's a powerful Omen."
"Yeah, I know! Isn't that neat?" Sigurd asked, raising his eyebrows.
"No, it's not neat," Johnny said, shaking his head as he reached out his hand to snatch the vase away from the boy. "Give me that...Scamp."
