Alcaeus stepped into The Box, looking around with his heart heavy, though he wasn't certain why. He walked down the short hallway, pausing to look around the blood-coated room. He took in the scorch marks on the floor, thinking about all of the bodies that had been burned there.

He stepped forward to the center of the room, raising his arms up to rest just inside the open shackles hanging from the ceiling. His breathing quickened as he looked around the room. "So, this was the last thing you saw?" he asked of his deceased, biological father. "Good. I will never be like you."
