Stark silhouette of bravery

Swingin' through in a hurry

A psychedelic, fiery blurry,

Who blends in well into the city scurry.

Beneath the arachnid costume,

Hides a boy very much handsome;

Of dowry hair, very nicely groomed,

That my fingertips lovingly strum.

The first time I watched you

Instantly had me attached to goo

Then you rescued me, my hero!

I knew it when I saw your aura glow

Say, spray your thoughts in graffiti.

Never get held back by the pity

Of your consciousness, sweetie.

At the same time, don't act so witty!

Conjured here somewhere in this city,

Immortalized in everything gritty,

These feelings might have betrayed you,

However, they surely made you.

I'd sensed that firm grasp,

Followed shortly by a gasp.

"Hoped you enjoyed that land".

With those words we befriended.

That fluorescent smile

And my pronunciation of your name: Miles...

Well, something complex developed,

Rendering my senses corrupt.

To you I had confronted,

Concerned about this sentiment.

You stood there, stunted,

Making me feel this repent.

Just face reality;

Just displace surreality.

Her hair seemed to wave in your direction,

But it left you stranded at the intersection.

Express with graffiti

Your emotions into an urban treaty.

So this conflict in a masterpiece

Helps you come to find some peace.

Confined in the corner of your lies

Sitting motionlessly, waiting to die,

Rather than to simply admit

The whizzing answer that stung and bit.

Because only you catalyzed

Whatever released my cries,

Derailing our beautiful friendship

And sending it crashing onto the landing strip.

I thought of you as heroic

Nowadays your image makes me stoic.

Every little jubilant feeling that you arose

Lies dormant at your feet, below each of the boroughs.

Why this torture, this penance,

To portray yourself as villainous?

When that tight-lipped scowl

At my dominion, once let out a howl.

And you fêted me,

I see, in your graffiti,

Because although you allegedly hate me,

My likeness emblazons your mural built pretty.

Presently, you've forbidden me from trespass

Of your chain link fence of intimacy.

My pride shatters to the floor in pieces of glass

Alongside inflicting cuts upon a flower sprouting from a crack in the concrete.

As I admire your groundbreaking graffiti,

In the horizon you appear swinging by.

Likely you come to the aid of the needy;

But not of those with issues like mine.
