Dark void with an overshadow
Of a chestnut glow
I plead, "don't go!"
It needs to, though
Lying in deep thought
You wander a lot
Drowning me in your charms
As I surface from your chiseled arms
I spot the mourning dove
Adorning love
It is mourning for me
Morning it'll be
Facing reality,
struggles and problems of actuality
However hard it hits
I won't retrieve wits
In the hues
of a beautiful blue
There's the mourning dove
I'll be remembering love
