Kanto Adventures [On Hold]

The Beginning

Red woke up that morning to the rays of the sun. He got of his bed and went to open the curtains of his windows. "What a beautiful morning! Perfect for my first day of adventure."

Red went to the bathroom to take a shower a brush his teeth. Then he went to his room to change. "I feel like I'm forgetting something," he said thoughtfully. "I'll figure it out soon enough."

He raced down the stairs to meet his mom for breakfast. "Good morning mom," he said cheerfully. "What's for breakfast? I'm starving!" Laura Feu rolled her eyes at her always hungry son. "Pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Your favorite."

Laura loved her son with all of her heart, and was very worried about him going out on a journey. The night before she had tried to get him to stay at home longer, told him that he wasn't ready yet, but he refused. He said he had waited long enough and that nothing could stop him. She finally gave up, and insisted that he be careful, and told him to take as many potions and antidotes as he could carry.

"At last!" Red screamed. "I'm so hungry I could eat a Tauros whole!" He started eating his breakfast very quickly. "Stop eating so fast or you'll choke, Red!" His mother had to constantly remind him to stop eating so fast, but he just couldn't help it. "But I'm late! And this is delicious. And I'm hungry. And I'm late!!!"

"I doubt they'll leave you behind. Stop rushing and relax," pleaded his mother.

Red finishes eating and picks up his backpack full of stuff for the journey. "Aren't you forgetting something?" Laura smirks as he looks away thoughtfully. "Here, you forgetful child," she says as she puts a red hat over his hair. "I knew I was forgetting something! Now I'm ready," he says as he adjusts his hat. "See ya later, mom! Take care!" he says as he runs out the door and into the streets of Pallet Town.

"Wait, Red! I forgot to give you something," she called after her son. "Your dad left you a gift." She went to the living room to get what Red's father had left him. "Here." He opened the small box, and in it was a red, black, and white watch. "Woah. Is this the new communicator?" Red asked in awe. "I've been wanting one ever since it came out last month!" He quickly put it on his left wrist. "I love it." His mother smiled at him. "Don't forget to read the note, honey!" she screamed at him as he began to run off again. "Ok!" he screamed back.

"And don't forget to change your underwear every day!" Laura screams back at him. Several people look back in their direction. "Moooom!" Red hates it every time she says that in front of people. His mother does nothing but smile as he keeps running down the street towards Professor Samuel Oak's laboratory.

Red's father was a well known Pokemon Ranger in the Kanto Region. He was known for saving countless people from rampaging Pokemon, startled Pokemon that posed danger to new trainers, and helping those that had no Pokemon be careful when out in the wilderness.

Thomas Feu loved his son and was very proud of him. He was very disappointed to be called into duty on the day Red was supposed to get his very first Pokemon. But nonetheless, he at least left him a gift with his wife. "Hope you like the watch, Red," he said as he looked at Red's picture. "And don't forget to call and tell me all about your first day."

With that, Thomas Feu went off to save some lives, just like any regular day.

A/N Guys please let me know what you think so far in the comments, and I'll accept suggestions for future events. Also there will be Johto Pokemon in this story, considering they're right next to each other.
