A/N Sorry I haven't done anything with this story in a while, but that will change. I will try to post at least one chapter per week, and if I'm really busy, up to two weeks, no more.

Now I hope you enjoy this chapter, focusing on Red's father. Let me know if you guys like it, and if you want me to make more like this.

Also, since there are different types of clothing for rangers, just imagine them using your favorite one.

Enjoy!

Thomas Feu was no ordinary ranger. He was one of the very best in all of Kanto. He had even won the best ranger award three years in a row. Currently, he was training a recent recruit, showing him what a ranger did on a daily basis, and teaching the emergency procedures. Telling him to be ready at all times, to be alert, and to never leave home without his Pokémon. His student/partner's name was Joe.

"Hey Tom. Do Rhydon go crazy often, and go off terrorizing towns and cities?" Joe asked. "I mean, I had never heard of that happening. Just last week, a Gyarados destroyed the bridge connecting Lavender to Viridian, and now this?"

Thomas didn't have an answer for that question. He'd never heard or seen anything like it. Wild Pokémon going on wild rampages just like that? It was unheard of.

"Look, Joe, our mission is to protect people from wild Pokémon, not investigate any weird occurrences," Tom said. "As far as we're concerned, we've done our job." Joe simply scoffed and looked away.

When they got to HQ, they were both called into the director's office. The director was a woman in her mid-forties, called Melinda May(A/N Yes, I did take the name from agent Melinda May from Agents of Shield). She was in charge of all Pokémon Ranger operations in all of Kanto, including their half of Mt. Silver.

"Mr. Feu, Mr. Williams. I do believe you have both heard of the strange occurrences that are happening all over Kanto. There have been several reports for the the past months of strong wild Pokémon going on rampages, but not as big as the ones that have happened the past two weeks. I am well aware of all your accomplishments, and would like to ask of you and your partner to investigate deep into this. What do you say? Are you in? Or not?"

Joe leaned in to whisper something to Joe. "Not our job to investigate, eh?" Tom just glared at him. "We'll accept the job, director. You can count on us to solve this mystery," Tom affirmed.

"Good," she smiled. "I will prepare your vehicle at once. Meet me at the garage in an hour. You will have this time to prepare yourself to embark on a dangerous journey to get to the bottom of all this."

They both went to prepare packs of supplies, because they'd be away from civilizations at times, going to places where no man has ever gone. After the hour had passed, they made their way to the garage, the place where all Ranger vehicles were kept at. When they arrived, they saw the director waiting for them.

"Gentlemen," she greeted them. "This is the most advanced, capable vehicle you've ever seen. It has been designed to adapt to virtually any environment. It even has a boat configuration. It has room for five people, a place to put your packs in, and cup holders. Yeah. We did that. I hope you town enjoy yourselves. And remember. We are all counting on you."

They both smiled at each other, excited for the awesome vehicle they had been give. "We won't disappoint you, director!" they both assured. They got on the vehicle, and off they went into the world of investigation.
