"What about this one," I ask, pointing to yet another house on the computer.
"Babe," Michael laughs, rubbing my thigh, "I already told you that I don't care what house we buy. It's yours to choose, I have no preference."
"Michael," I sigh, resting my head on his shoulder, "It's mostly your money." I say quietly, shaking my head.
"You know I don't care about that." he smiles, slowly rubbing his hand up and down my leg.
"You don't care about anything," I huff, making him chuckle, "Should we even be doing this?" I as, sitting up to look at him.
"Should we even be doing what?" he asks slowly, searching my eyes for answers.
"Should we even be buying a house," I exasperate, placing my laptop on the wooden coffee table, "I mean, I don't care about the moving in part anymore. I could care less, but that's not the point," I sigh, shaking my head before leaning back into the couch.
"So what, you don't want to buy a house or do you not want to move in with me?" Michael asks with an attitude, cocking his brow.
"Did you not just hear what I said?" I ask, turning my body towards him, "I just told you that I want to move in with you. I just don't want to buy a house. It's too much stress for now and you know, I guess I could move in with you." I say hesitantly and Michael's demeanour immediately changes to surprised.
"Really?" He asks, raising both his brows.
"Yeah, I guess," I sigh, "I don't want Adam to be able to find me and he already knows where I live and work. You're right, I'm not safe here anymore."
"Really? Are you sure?" He asks again, in a pushier tone.
"Now you're asking?" I guffaw, making his eyes twinkle, before you weren't concerned with my thought, you just wanted me to move in with you and now that I've decided that's what would be best, you're trying to sway me off of my decision?" I grin and he shakes his head, pulling me into his lap.
"I always cared about what you thought, but I know that Adam would've come back if you hadn't decided to move in with me. Even if I did move in with you, I wouldn't always be able to be here, babe." He says lovingly, kissing my forehead, "I love you. All I want to do is keep you safe."
"I love you too, Michael, and thank you for understanding where I was coming from before." I grin, cuddling into his chest.
"Of course, babe, I'll always try to understand what's going on in that crazy head of yours." He teases, hugging me close.
"Oh shut up," I hit his chest as I grin like an idiot.
"Hey, play nice," he chuckles, spanking the side of my leg gently. I wrap my arms around his neck, lifting myself to straddle his lap, "What are you doing?" he asks, his voice raspy.
"You don't know?" I giggle, kissing down his jawline as I run my hands down his chest.
"I thought we were looking at houses," he grins, running his hands down my back.
"That's was before I decided that I would move in with you. Don't you remember?" I murmur into the heat of his skin.
"You know, it sounds familiar, but you just fog my mind so much. You're such a distraction." he teases, softly gripping my ass in his large hands.
"You're funny," I smile, holding his face in my hands as I stare into his eyes, "I love you Michael." I sigh softly, and something ignites behind his eyes. He smiles, pecking my lips gently.
"I love you." he says softly, kissing down my neck. I tilt my head back a bit, letting him kiss my collarbone and décolletage, "We should go on vacation." he sighs against my glowing skin to look into my eyes.
"What?" I ask, furrowing my brows.
"We should go on vacation," he repeats with mischief in his eyes, "You've been under a lot of stress, with work and your Mother." he explains, running his hands down my thighs, "And plus, we're moving in together. This would be a good trial run to see what it would be like to live with each other for a long period of time." he winks, making my cheeks flush.
"Michael, we've already practiced that a lot," I grin, running my thumb over his cheek, "You basically live here with me."
"Right, which is why you should've just said yes to moving in with me in the first place." he grins kissing the tip of my nose.
"Michael," I sigh, shaking my head, "Let's not get into this. I already said yes, you don't need to rub your rightness in my face." I say with a hint of irritation.
"Okay," he chuckles, making me smile as well, "I won't push it. I'm just glad you agreed to live with me. I just want to keep you safe and happy. Living with me will make both of those things happen." he grins cockily, making me arch a brow.
"Promises, promises, Jackson," I tut and he smiles, kissing the palm of my hand.
"So what do you say?" he smiles widely, "Will you go on vacation with me?"
